After another dismal season bringing there record to 8 - 16 in two years, the Wolverines have found a new coach in UMBlindside who hopes to bring the Wolverines back to the force they are meant to be in the Big Ten. After hours of calling recruits he persuaded all the former coaches recruits to stay on and not transfer to other schools. He also looked to add some size and speed to the receiver and secondary positions. The main off season focus for the offensive side of the ball seems to be the #11 receiver in the nation - Ryan Smith who can be a deep threat with ideal size(6-3) and speed(B+ or A-). In the secondary Roger Briggs (strong safety) and #1 recruit in the nation for the off season Willie Jones (defensive tackle) look to be the main two targets.

Will they sign with the Wolverines? Only time will tell.

    Willie Jones Commits

After being named the #1 recruit in the offseason, defensive tackle Willie Jones commited to the University of Michigan after taking a tour of the campus and meeting the coaches. The 6-4, 283 pound tackle is a bit undersized but still is quick(C+) for his size and very strong(B+). An unnamed full back soft commited to Michigan as well with most other targets having Michigan as #1 on there list who should commit very soon.
