    Week 1

Runner-Up goes to FSU tailback Chris Thompson.

Thompson set the FSU rushing record last year and returned for his season year as one of the early Heisman favorites. In a big time home opener vs Georgia, he carried the ball 9 times for a total of 3 yards and was one of the biggest contributors to the Seminole loss.

But the winner goes to......... Coach Gwill

In a match-up between two of the most talented teams in the nation, Ohio State got smoked by Oregon, 38-10. There is nothing to be ashamed of in losing to the Ducks, but how on earth do you only attempt 7 passes when you end up loosing by 28??? I can already hear an outcry in Columbus to bring back the former coach.

    Week 2

The 2012 season seems to be shaping up as the year of horrible quarterback play and in week 2 there were was alot of it. Fittingly the winner of worst performer of the week goes to the quarterback position. Highlighting the efforts were:

    From Utah, Wynn 6-20 30% 3 ints
    From USC, Barkley 12-29 41% 2 ints
From Miami, Morris 4-13 30% 1 int for 25 yards passing
    From Georgia, Murray 4-12 33%

In a related note, a new award will be given out at the completion of the season to the years most inaccurate passer.

    The Akili Smith Trophy

It might not quite be time to lower QB accuracy.

I had no control over the playcalling due to extenuating circumstances.

yeah, me and gwill had a 4th quarter disconnect so it was the CPU that thought running the ball from behind was gonna work after we played out the fourth(1st) to get the final

My apologies to coach Gwill, however once WPOW is posted the result can not be changed.
