    It's "i can't believe you're asking this."

I'd vote against it because the majority of our league credo (what it's "about" is) "What would you actually see in a game on saturday? The rules are supposed to - for the most part - govern what you really see on the field. Boise State is very unconventional. overall I'd say going for 2 every time is not Tradition football-esque.

It's just a psyche-out that teams that know they're not for real try and do.

I was just thinking out loud.........I always thought about it. Say my team was not very good and I had no chance against a top tier team. We decided that we are going to go for 2 points every chance we get. I would disclose this information to my opponent before the game so they can be prepared.

this is fundamentally against everything "straight" and "sim" stand for. no different than saying "i don't believe in punting."

I like to think that "Tradition" is a little more legit than a team that plays on a blue fucking field with matching uniforms

No way, no how. I can see a fringe BCS buster doing something like that. But not a team with class, dignity self respect, honor, goals, ambitions, parents, common sense, half a brain, all their teeth, hygiene, electricity, running water, and taste in women.

some high schools will do that - especially if they don't really have a punter.

a friend of mine works for a Boston newspaper covering high school sports. a couple of years ago he was covering a football game between a really good prep high school and a shitty catholic high school.

the Catholic school took over on their ten yard line. Got stuff for a 2 yard loss, stuff for a two yard loss and sacked for a 5 yard loss.

Punting fron their 1 the punter handled the snap in the back of his end zone, kicked and managed to have the ball go straight up in the air, bouncing in the end zone and rolling out the back for a safety.
