I voted yes, but I'm really pretty indifferent here. I don't care what default level we start at, but I do want to be able to run the ball haha.

Wow....shocked by the amount of yes votes so far.

I will say that I think guys should run at least a 5 minute quarters game on heisman before voting on this.

At this point I am willing to try anything to stop arguing about sliders.

    (All American)

    Speed threshold: 40

    Human/CPU

    QB accuracy: 40/40
    Pass blocking: 50/45
    WR Catch: 45/45
    Running back ability: 45/50
    Run block: 50/75
    Pass coverage: 50/50
    Pass rush: 50/50
    Interceptions: 0/30
    Rush Defense: 30/45
    Tackling: 40/40

^^^^^^^^^^^ Those are the sliders in another league that I'm in off TF. The CPU has done the following damage:

MICHIGAN: Lost to Illinois, Wisco, tOSU
OREGON: Lost to Texas 24-21 at home
BOSTON COLLEGE: Lost to Clemson 35-28
ARIZONA STATE: Lost to USC 37-21

There have definitely been more losses than just those, and plenty of close games. The games don't feel as cheesy as ours do. I would propose that we try those for the rest of this season, and if we still aren't where we want to be, THEN try Heisman. My $0.02.

BillFlo is in that league as Purdue, pretty sure Ohio State blew him out in Season 1 (we're midway through season 2)
Psycho is in that league as Arizona State
PapaPerry is in that league as Georgia and has had 2 really close CPU games this season

I'm hoping they can weigh in with some input.

This seems a bit ridiculous, no? ==> Interceptions: 0/30

I'm not sure what they ACTUALLY are now, but in the dynasty info thread they are at 15/30 currently. Users tend to intercept the CPU a disproportionate amount, and I haven't really suffered against them against the pass in that league.

I'm fine with Heisman, but do not like User INT at 0, I hardly pick anything off as it is. Zero interceptions is not realisitic. And 75 Run Block on CPU with Heisman scares me a bit but I am willing to try it.

We are getting away from what made this league so fun, THE MEMBERS. We have all off these guys quitting for no reason it seems like. I could care less about stupid sliders and if I win or lose, I joined this league to play with the guys that make it fun with the rivalries and jellos offseason night analysis. Jello, Perry, and Psycho leave for crappy reasons (well maybe not pyscho) and now Dru is leaving because of some dumb sliders?? Pretty soon we will have nobody left. You guys are getting to worked up over sliders and advance schedules (none of this is shauns fault btw). I think we need to just roll with something and not worry so much about these things. Just try to keep the CPU competitive and have fun and all you jack wagons playin that offsite chise to need to rejoin us because you have no excuses!!!

Reading's half the battle Masler. Those sliders are for AA difficulty.

I'm down with trying these out too. If they are losing to the CPU and getting close games I'm all for them. The only tweaks I'd make based on what we know already are the following:

User RB ability +5 to default 50.

CPU rush defense +5 to default 50 to match.

    CPU tackling +5/+10.

You could even drop the QB accuracy down to 30/35. And I'm never a fan of a slider at 0 so I'd like user INTs to at least by 5 or 10.

Other than that, I'd totally vote to give these a try before making a wholesale change to heisman.

The other thing is I'd like to see our special teams sliders modified. Kickoff power is set to 0 and I don't know why. I've spent time recruiting really good kickers and my kickoff guy with A kick power can barely get the ball to the goalline. He should be getting touchbacks more frequently than when there's a 12 mps wind at his back.

I like this set of sliders, but I do think the CPU could be a little more dangerous in that league. Personally, I would bump up the RBA a little for the cpu, maybe make the cpu defense a bit tougher as well. You are able to run the ball and able to stay balanced.
