The TMFL is the Premier Madden NFL 25 league on Xbox 360. The league consists of the best of the best across the TSO landscape, with a focus on"sim" play, sportsmanship and top notch competition. With a wealth of content, active discussions and a fast pace, the league should push all others to emulate it. What you will see in the TMFL is what you will see in the NFL on any given day.

    League Info
    • League Name - TSO TMFL (TSO *space* TMFL)
    • Password - Sim0rD1e

    Game Play Rules

In general, the TMFL is expected to be the beacon for other Tradition Sports Online leagues. TMFL members should understand that they are expected to be role models for the rest of TSO. Tradition Sports Online has a code of conduct which everyone should be familiar with in their gameplay.

Please know these rules by heart: http://forums.traditionsportsonline...and-general-expectations.101445/#post-1400886

    TMFL Leadership

For TMFL 25, the following league members will make up the leadership of TMFL:

Besides Papa Perry, who has straight forward responsibilities, the others have the following responsibilities:

sawemoff - Gameplay Complaint Committee Member / Enforcement
fuzzyl0gic - Gameplay Complaint Committee Member / Enforcement

Essentially, all game play complaints will be reported to fuzzyl0gic and sawemoff. The Gameplay Complaint Committee will discuss a solution to the problem and pass their recommended course of action to fuzzyl0gic. The assistant commissioners will be in charge of monitoring completion of game recaps (which are required per the TSO Madden Rules), roster limit compliance and financial solvency.

All TMFL staff will report to fuzzyl0gic , who will enforce any violations of these rules.

    Strike System

    Method of resolving gameplay complaints:

    1. Work it out during the game over the Mic.
    2. Work it out during the game over PM or XBL if no mic.
    3. Fill out complaint form and saw and moon will review the complaint with both parties (form is in the "League Bible").
    4. If moon and saw feel that a strike is in order, I will get involved for official review.
    5. Bitching in the CB after you're told to stop = strike

You can get a strike by:

    1. Bitching in the CB (I.E. you go on and on about a game and/or opponent after repeated warnings to stop)
    2. Reviewed Gameplay complaints
    2. Taking more than 3 unexcused SIMs a season (I.E. you're not on vacation or attending to a prior obligation, and the reason the game is a sim is due to negligence on your part.)

    1 strike = verbal warning
2 strikes = lose best defensive player and offensive player for a game
3 strikes in a season you get banned for 2 games and have to have CPU play your opponent
5 strikes in one season you're gone for good.

Strikes re-set after one season. The commissioner also holds the right to remove anyone at anytime regardless of strikes. (This would have to be ultra serious, and I would consult Masler and Gyrene to sign off on it. They'd both have to be in 100% agreement with me.)

    Finance Rules

In the TMFL for Madden NFL 25, you are required to be an owner. Your responsibility as an owner is to attempt to become the number one franchise in the league. You will be held accountable for your decisions. In particular, if you are removed as an owner due to putting your team into a poor financial situation, you will be removed from the TMFL. There is no mechanism to allow you to rejoin the league.

    Relocation / Stadium Rules

In Madden NFL 25, teams may relocation to help improve their standing as a franchise. The game dictates the criteria for moving. Teams in new stadiums with positive team rankings are far less likely to be given the opportunity than teams with old stadiums and poor financial situations.

If you are given the option to relocate, you can IF:

    • 3/4 of the league owners vote to allow you to relocate. All owners are required to vote.
Past that, you are allowed to improve your stadium any way you see fit, up to or including building a new stadium in your current city. The only rule is a vote is required to MOVE CITIES. This must happen BEFORE doing any of the groundwork for moving. If you are voted down and relocate anyway, you will be removed from the TMFL (and possibly TSO).

    Roster Rules

During the regular season, you must have 53 players under contract. There are no per position requirements, but ensure you do not have players out of position on your depth chart. This means you cannot use cornerbacks as safeties, linebackers at defensive line, etc. You may use a running back at wide receiver if they have a wide receiver skill set, but be judicious with this rule. There aren't many Reggie Bush's in the league.

    Trade Rules

There is NO TRADE COMMITTEE, however, the following restrictions must be followed:

    • Teams may trade an unlimited amount of draft picks (pick for pick).
    • Teams may initiate 2 player trades every 2 years.
    • Trades may include no more than two players per team, no more than four items max (ie 1 player 3 picks, 2 players 2 picks).
    • No cap dumping trades (the criteria for this is at my discretion).
    • No trading a player less than 3 years into a rookie deal.
Owners MUST post trades in team transaction thread. An assistant commissioner is assigned to this thread, and will go through and make sure the rules were followed.

    Off Season Free Agency

This will be done via the in game bidding mechanism. There is to be no discussion of the dollar amount in bids you placed in order to preserve the usefulness of the in game mechanism. Please note you only get one attempt per in game stage, so make it count, there are no in-stage counter offers. Again, IF YOU PUT YOUR TEAM IN CAP HELL, SO SORRY, NO BAILOUTS.

    In Season Free Agency

Any free agency that is outside the Off Season Free Agency bidding is considered IN season. That includes players cut during cut down weeks in the preseason. Since there is no conflict resolution implemented for this type of free agency, it is effectively first come first serve. We want everyone to have a fair shot at these free agents, so the following system will be used:

    • If you intend to sign a Free Agent, there will be a thread created weekly that you need to express this intention.
    • If two or more players intend to sign the same player there will be a waiver wire process.
    • The regular season record of the previous season will be the tie breaker, i.e. the player will be awarded to the team with the poorest record the previous year.
    Example:

Randy Moss is available. Both the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers express the intention to sign him to a contract. Since Cleveland had the worse 2011 record, they will be permitted to sign Randy Moss.

Please do not be a douche and claim someone you really have no need for simply because someone else wants them, it is uncouth. Also, keep in mind these contracts are only 1 year, you will need to renegotiate with them at the end of the season.

    Scheduling and Advancement Schedule

TMFL will advance the every 48 hours at approximately 10 PM EST. It is your responsibility to check your schedule, and plan accordingly. Be proactive and contact your opponent for a good time for you to play your games. I suggest adding each coach's gamertag to your friends list.

All games must be scheduled in the game scheduling subform located here: http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/forums/game-scheduling.266/.

We do not schedule games via text message, PM or carrier pigeon. The reason is so that there is accountability, or a decision can be made in the case of not being able to schedule a game.

If you will be on vacation or away, you must set yourself to vacation in the game itself, so your opponent(s) can play the CPU. In addition, you must post in the Vacation Sticky. So that we know what happened to you if you suddenly disappear.

    Activity

The TMFL is about more than playing your games. Activity and participation in discussions is required. This includes responding to trade requests in a timely manner, responding to tags, and scheduling your games. Use of a headset is required. In addition, we recommend all users actively use twitter as Madden NFL '13 has a lot of twitter functionality.

    Longevity

The TMFL25 will run for approximately eight seasons. There are no plans to move the league to next gen, this will remain a 360 league for the entire cycle. Thank you for your commitment.

    Lions - 38

    Vikings - 16

Turnovers and lack of ability to catch the ball killed Minnesota today while the Lions were efficient on both sides of the ball. Reggie Bush ran for over 100 yards and a pair of scores while Stafford threw one TD to Brandon Pettigrew. Adrian Peterson was very elusive on his way to 160 yards but did not find the endzone.

Lions start off the season on a good note and face the Cardinals Week 2

    Four Interceptions Does In Texans

    H v S.png
    Game Recap.png

First Quarter: Was slow going as each team was getting a feel for each other. After a few punts back and forth the Chargers were able to pin the Texans deep. A few plays later Rookie CB Steve Williams read QB Kase Keenum's eyes, picking the ball and taking it to the house putting the Bolts on top 7-0.

Second Quarter: This is where all the action took place as both teams combined for 31 points. With Kase Keenum still struggling, by throwing two interceptions, the Chargers took advantage by scoring 10 points off the mistakes. The first came from a short 3 yard run from RB Ryan Matthews and the next was an easy mid range FG by K Nick Novak. Backup RB Danny Woodhead showed cased his speed and agility as he broke off a 45 yard TD run to grow their lead. In between the scores Houston was able to put up 14 points through the air. Rookie WR Deandre Hopkins found pay dirt when he split the defense and out ran everyone for a 27 yard TD. With a little over a minute left WR Devier Posey made a wonderful catch over CB Steve Williams for a 80 yard TD.

Halftime: Houston- 14 Chargers- 24 with Chargers receiving the ball

Third Quarter: After making adjustments on both sides of the ball neither team was able to get on the board. Every time each team got close to FG range the defenses would come up big. There was two instances that did happen where both kickers missed long FGs wide right.

Fourth Quarter: Both teams were drained but was able to keep it a defense struggle with a combined of six points in the quarter. K Nick Novak and K Rand Bullock hit some chip shots in but at the end CB Shareece Wright picked off Keenum to seal the deal.

After a very disappointing first half and third quarter, the Carolina Panthers find a way to steal a win from the Seahawks. Entering the 4th quarter, it was Seattle 20 and Carolina 3. Costly turnovers and a little luck in Carolina's favor was the difference in this game.

    Good game MoonBBad .

    Week 1 - Baltimore @ Denver

    BAL - 00 l 10 l 00 l 10 / 06 ll 26
    DEN - 14 l 00 l 03 l 03 / 00 ll 20

Baltimore begins the season on the road due to a stupid baseball game, after winning the Super Bowl last year against San Francisco. The Ravens started out the game in a hole starting off with a 3 and out, and taking a 60+ yard pass down their throat from Peyton Manning to DeMaryius Thomas. Denver scored once more in the first quarter on a Knowshon Moreno run.

The Ravens didn't bow down quickly on the road, putting up 10 points in the second quarter on a Joe Flacco pass to Torrey Smith. The Broncos missed a field goal that allowed a Ravens field goal to pull within 4 at the half. The Ravens also failed to put any points on the board after a Wes Welker fumble.

The third quarter the Broncos put up their first field goal of the night to go up 7 points, and managed to hold the lead until the fourth quarter. Joe Flacco found Torrey Smith for the second time of the night to make it a tied ball game. Both teams added field goals for themselves leaving the game tied heading into the last few minutes, but Denver's kicker, Matt Prater, missed his second field goal of the night leaving Baltimore time to go down the field and win the game. Baltimore failed to move the ball into field goal range, and punted the ball from their 50 yard line on a 4th and inches (that they allowed to go to a 4th and 6 for a better punt.) Denver moved the ball so well, but with no timeouts they threw a completion to get inside field goal range, but time ran out before another play could get off.

Denver in overtime marched the ball easily down the field and Baltimore's sideline looked troubled when they made it inside the redzone, but a costly interception gave Baltimore the ball back on the 7 yard line. Joe Flacco must've seen a blitz coming and called a quick audible on the first play of their drive, and threw a 93 yard pass over the top to Torrey Smith giving him his third TD reception of the night to win in OT.

    Key Notes & Stats.

Denver out gained Baltimore 572 yards to 384.
Denver out rushed Baltimore 118 yards to 41.
Denver out passed Baltimore 454 yards to 343.
    Baltimore had 1 turnover to Denver's 3.
Denver's 2 missed FG's cost them this game.

    Denver Broncos

    Peyton Manning : 26/36 for 468 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT
Knowshon Moreno : 23 rushes for 112 yards and 1 TD
Julius Thomas : 7 receptions for 178 yards
Wes Welker : 7 receptions for 91 yards
DeMaryius Thomas : 2 receptions for 87 yards and 1 TD

    Baltimore Ravens

    Joe Flacco : 16/29 for 346 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT
Ray Rice : 17 rushes for 34 yards
Jacoby Jones : 6 receptions for 98 yards
Torrey Smith : 4 receptions for 169 yards and 3 TD

GG White Walkers and good luck in the season to come.

untitled.JPG Titans Rule The Day as Steelers Look Rusty

    nellycuz (0-0) vs Snozberriez8198 (0-0)

The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans. The crowd was buzzing with excitement of opening week and was full of energy with thier Pittsburgh Steelers being a heavy favorite at home against the visiting Titans. The Steelers have a roster full of veterans and playmakers, while the Titans are a team that has talent, but is still in the building stages. The stage was set for "Big Ben" and Jake Locker to square off.

The Steelers won the toss and elected to kick, where Jake Locker lead a nice drive down the field and he later scored on a qb sneak to go up 7-0. The Steelers looked out of sync from the start and went three and out in thier first possession. The Titans got the ball back after a Steelers punt and drove down inside the red zone, but Jake Locker misread the coverage and threw the ball over the middle where Lawrence Timmons intercepted it inside the five yard line. The very next play, Roethlisberger tried throwing the ball across the middle but Moise Fokou was waiting and had himself a pick six to go up 14-0.

The game didn't get any easier as a few drives later the Steelers punted to Marc Mariani who after a few missed tackles returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown to go up 21-0. The Steelers managed a field goal and went into the half 21-3.

The second half of the game was more of the same as the Titans defense played smothering defense, and ended the game accumulating 5 turnovers (4 int and 1 FF). Going into the 4th quarter "Big Ben" had 0 TD and 4 INT, but did manage to get 1 late passing touchdown. The Titans recovered the late onside kick attempt and ran out the clock.

This game was won by the defense and the game ball went to Moise Fokou who ended the day with 2 interceptions, and one of them went for a touchdown.

    NOTEABLE PERFORMANCES:

    Moise Fokou - 2 INT 1 TD
    Jake Locker- 2 Rush TD
Chris Johnson- 26 attempts 121 yards 3 Rec. 26 yards

    Lawrence Timmons- 1 Int
    Jason Worlids- 2 Sacks
Brett Keisel/ Lamar Woodley (1 sack each)

Great game nellycuz....it was a rough game I know, but goodluck for the rest of season man!!!

Browns open season with a win at home

    Dolphins 10
    Browns 20

This game was a defensive struggle with neither team able to run much. The Cleveland defense was solid in this one holding Tannehill to 209 yards and 1 INT on the day while getting to him early and often forcing 4 sacks and a few other knockdowns. Over on the offensive side of the ball Brian Hoyer had a very efficient day with 280 yards 2 TD's and no interception to earn a 123.9 QBR. Miami defensive end Cameron Wake was a force most of the day with 4 tackles , 2 TFL and a sack. The Dolphins offense struggled most of the day but tight end Dustin Keller had a solid performance with 6 catches 52 yards and a TD.

Good game charter04 , good luck rest of the season.

    Players of the Game-

    Browns
    Brian Hoyer 280 2 TD's 0 INT
Paul Kruger 3 tackles 3 TFL 1 sack 1 INT

    Dolphins
Ryan Tannehill 209 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Cameron Wake 4 tackles 2 TFL 1 sack

Raiders Rumble to a 41-24 Win Against the Colts

The start of a new season means everyone is healthy, and that means Darren McFadden is healthy. It didn't take long for the Raiders do what they focused on doing which is running the ball and play an efficient pass game and both McFadden and Pryor were able to do that. The Raider offense struck first behind the running of Darren McFadden for his first of four TDs of the day. The Colts were able to respond on the next possession to the tie the game, but the Raiders were able to pull away in the 2nd quarter behind big runs by McFadden and Timely passing from Pryor.

The Raiders were able to build up 21-7 lead at one point with McFadden reaching the century mark by halftime and it didn't stop there. The Raiders fan the ball even more in the 2nd half including a big 67 yard TD run right up the middle untouched which factored into a big day of 29 rushes 225 yards and 4 TDs.

The Colts didn't not give up though as they kept on fighting and Luck having a big day yardage wise hooking up with Reggie Wayne consistently who finished with 170 yards receiving. The Colts were able still within two scores down 31-17 in the 2nd half after a big Wayne TD reception, but the Colts continued to have issues stopping McFadden and were able to pull away behind the rush game, but also clutch INTs by the Raiders. Newly acquired and returning Raider Nnamdi Asomugha came up big with 2 INTs in the 4th quarter to basically help seal the game. Luck was picked off for times in this game and had an opportunity to put a scoring drive to get them within one possession until Nnamdi came up with a pick.

    Cardinals 24
    Rams 23

Some costly turnovers by Carson Palmer put the Cards behind the eight ball on the road in St. Louis, but Arizona was able to pull it out thanks to a Rashard Mendenhall touchdown with 25 seconds left. Palmer threw 3 picks in this one, with one taken back to the house (I think). Arizona picked off Sam Bradford twice, taking one back to the house as well. Contrary to what the score says, both defenses played outstanding in this one (except for the Zona run D). Zac Stacy had about 150 on roughly 18 carries on the day. Rams CB Janoris Jankins had two picks on the day, including a nasty one hander.

You have a good team HarkTheSound , if you just let that defense do its thing and take care of the ball I see a good season for you.
