BOISE, Id -- Coach Summers was able to cap off a very successful 1st season as the Roadrunners head man with a win over Miami of Ohio in the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl. The Roadrunners wouldn't be denied the win as they battle all game long and wouldn't let Miami get back in the game. This will be some serious momentum for UTSA heading into the off season.

The Golden Flash fall in overtime as they were unable to stop the rushing from Wyoming QB B. Smith who rushed for 115 yards on 19 carries. He constantly frustrated the Golden Flash defense as the Cowboys would go 5 wide only to see the Smith take off and run for 1st downs. Kent's QB Spencer Keith wrapped up a great senior year as he passed for 354 yards and 2 Tds.

No Offense, But Do These Teams Play Defense?
    Buffalo Outlasts FIU 69-62
Mobile, AL - The 9-4 Buffalo Bulls and 9-3 FIU Golden Panther met up in the GoDaddy.com Bowl in a game that most of the nation thought was a basketball game by the score. Buffalo got the ball first and things went sour immediately. Star RB and Kick Returner of the Year, Branden Oliver, was knocked out of the game on the very first play. For the rest of the 1st quarter, the teams were basically feeling each other out. Then in the 2nd quarter though, each team started throwing knockout punches in dramatic fashion.
However, thing were about to get really bad for the Bulls. Starting Senior QB Jerry Davis would get knocked out of the game as well in the 2nd quarter. After that, the running game was non existent for Buffalo. Backup QB Alex Zordich was able to come in and play the game of his life with 547 passing yards and 7 TDs. Both sides were able to move the ball at will and it was clear that the team with the ball last was going to win. However, that team ended up being FIU. With Buffalo leading 69-62, FIU had marched down the field and was inside the Bulls 10 yard line with less than 30 seconds remaining. Amazingly, FIU QB Jake Medlock would throw his first and only INT of the game on the 2 yard line. This sealed the game as Buffalo would win the GoDaddy.com Bowl Game.
