Not much can be said about what happened in this game. After the first drive of the game which Kent State forced a Miami punt, the Golden Flash were unable to stop another Miami drive without it ending as a score for the Red-hawks. Every Miami HB and WR broke tackles in bunches especially when it was 3rd and long. The Kent offense also struggled throughout the game as they could not develop a rhythm for most if the game. But despite all that was wrong in this game the Golden Flash were able to finally force a FG and then responded with a TD to pull to within 38-31 wit just over a minute to play. But of course the Golden Flash could not get that key stop and Miami poured salt into the wound when the scored on a 34 yard TD run with 15 seconds remaining.

Buffalo Continues To Roll, Move To 6-4

Buffalo, NY - It was the final home game of the season for the Buffalo Bulls and they put on a show for their fans. Many felt that the loss of WR Alex Neutz, a semi-finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, would cripple the passing attack of Buffalo. That ended up not being the case in this game as all the WRs stepped up and played great even though it was snowing for the entire game. Devon Hughes was huge but he ended up getting injured as well. That brought #4 WR Saron Hood up to the starting positions and the Bulls didn't miss a beat as QB Jerry Davis was able to have 4 TDs at halftime. The snow and heavy wind conditions did play a factor though with both sides missing FGs. Once again, the backups came in for the 4th quarter as Buffalo held on for their first shutout of the year.
Buffalo has been a very good 1st half team but they have been especially dominant lately. In their last 3 games, they are beating their opponents 86-0 in the 1st half. In the 1st quarter of their last 4 games(equal to 1 full game), the Bulls are beating their opponents 56-0.
