Kent State rebounded after last weeks meltdown against Miami Ohio and won a hard fought game with Bowling Green. The two teams played even for the 1st half with Kent surging ahead for a 21-14 lead with 9 seconds left in the half on a short 2 yard TD pass. But in the 2nd half the Golden Flash left as they scored 21 unanswered points pull away and cruise to a 42-21 win. The 2nd half surge was lead by the new found rushing of 2nd string HB Anthony Meray as he rushed for 109 yards and 2 Td's. Afterwards Coach Grad said we are pleased with Trayion Durham and he will continue our starter but we may have found out version of lightning in Anthony Meray to go with thunder. Durham is a 6 foot 260lb bruiser HB who can bang and provide the tough yards while Meray is a 5-7 191lb HB who has good speed and quickness.
