Sabo and the Vandals fall to 0-1 in WAC play after a beating by NMSU maij17. Highlights didn't save but Maij picked me off 100x and I couldn't play any defense lol. Great game Maij.

The Vandals travel to Texas State in hopes of their first WAC win next week.

Kent State traveled to face Eastern Michigan for week 6 and was looking to put last week disastrous game with Ball State behind them. After playing to a 7-7 tie after the 1st Qtr the Golden Flash made a couple adjustments on defense and began to slowly shut down the EMU offense. Despite a couple picks deep in EMU territory the Kent offense is beginning to find its way as they 21 unanswered points to pull away for a business like 28-7 win. The offense continued to get Durham more involved as he rushed for 61 yards on 10 caries. DT Roosevelt Nix had a huge game for the Flash as he led the defense with 4 sacks on the day.

Buffalo Struggles Early, Storms Back In 2nd Half In Ohio

Athens, OH - The Bulls came into this game expecting a tough and challenging game and that's exactly what they got. Ohio surprised Buffalo by coming out with a no huddle offense out of the pistol and Buffalo really struggled coming to terms with it. On top of that, the offense just wasn't clicking and the Bulls had trouble moving the ball. This allowed Ohio to jump out to a 27-10 halftime lead. However, Buffalo would come out in the 2nd half energized and ready to fight. Offensively, the passing lanes started to open and the running game was finding holes. Most importantly though, Buffalo started to get some pressure defensively and that made things much tougher for the Bobcats. It was an amazing turnaround and the 28-7 2nd half allowed Buffalo take the win and stay undefeated in MAC play.

PROVO, Utah -- The trip out to Prove for the Roadrunners was a short one... the trip home a bit longer. UTSA made the trek home after being dominated by BYU 49-10. "Its rough... makes for a long trip home. All you do is sit there and think about what you could improve on", said first year Coach ChaoticUT. UTSA's starting QB was knocked out early in the game and it seemed to deflated the whole team. The offense would struggle and the defense would give up big play after big play. Next week UTSA hosts Oregon State.
