    MTSU Gets First Win
The Blue Raiders finally put together a complete game and defeated Noth Texas 28-21 at home for their first victory. North Texas wasn't able to stop the run and MTSU controlled the clock by running to ball 44 times for 204 yards. HBs William Pratcher and Benny Cunningham each finished with 20 rushes for 96 yards and 1 TD. "I'm so proud of these guys. They've fought hard all year and we earned this first win. That was the MTSU way right there fellas. I'm just so darn excited." The road doesn't get any easier as MTSU host coach Capp and the #15 ranked Western Kentucky. "We'll have to play a perfect game and hope for a little help just to compete next week. Coach Capp really has those boys playing well."

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Roadrunners finally got their playmaker back at QB after Soza had been questionable the last couple of weeks with an ACL sprain. "We obviously wanted him out there sooner, but with an injury to the knee and the stuff that kid does with his legs, the training staff and I thought it would be best to keep him out a little longer." Soza came out notable rusty in the air and on the ground. "His reads were off in the option and of course that INT on the first drive. But he got into the groove of things late and it wasn't pretty, but he got the win."
