Tough game, good battle Sabo.
Good win Payton. Congrats
Payton's post game conf audio will be posted shortly in the conf room forum
Notre Dame wins the Legends Trophy with a 28-7 win over Stanford. Running back Todd Jacobs has 173 on the ground and takes a screen pass 65 for a score. The Cardinal were plagued by throwing a couple of picks in the red zone.
down goes the Jamiester
Stanford proved to be highly overrated, just like the experts thought....
Whoa whoa whoa. The experts thought we were overrated? We were predicted to finish last in the Pac-10! Instead, we're going to a BCS bowl game for christ's sake...
Ohio State is going to annihilate you!
Just my luck, I'm going to go up against the defending national champs...
Missouri gets beat senseless 35-19. 6 INTs 2 of which were in the redzone is what did it in for Missouri. Ego look at that INT I saved. My wideout was freaking wide open, your d-lineman jumped up at the LOS and picked that shit off! Unreal. Adams was out the entire 4th quarter, doesn't help when you need to make a comeback. GG Ego.
Yup his guys were doing awesome at undercutting routes and shit. My receiver would have the inside/outside and have the guy screened off the ball when I let it go, and then when it got their the D-back/linebacker would have the inside/outside. I guess that's what you get for throwing it at the star players and the last two I don't really know what happened. The 2nd to last one I saved. My wideout was sitting in the zone wide open and I let the ball go and someone at the line of scrimmage jumped up and intercepted although my guy was about 15 yards downfield, don't know how it would have gotten to him if a d-lineman can jump up and get it, haha. The last one I had a wideout on a slant open and pressed the icon over his head and it went to a completely different receiver that was blanketed. But that one didn't really matter anyways (probably had to do with the fact that it was a fresh back up QB with very little accuracy or awareness).
The interception Nick saved was ridiculous. NO WAY a LB should be able to make that play! That being said, I considered us even after 1) That pick Missouri made on the post corner route when an Auburn WR had the CB beat for the TD (highlight) and when HB Jenkins dropped that wide open catch in the end zone. ;-)
Other than that, my Tigers just came up and made plays. I think mixing up the coverages and showing multiple looks lead to some risky throws. As Nick mentioned, the red zone play was crucial in this one. Funk's killed me season after season with this, so it was nice to be on the other side for a change.
GG, Nick. I'm sure you'll rebound nicely in your Bowl game.
Your DE made a very similar play in our game if you remember. Jumped at the line of scrimmage and intercepted a ball that was going 10 yards down field. Ridiculous.
Haha, that one was just flat-out bad. I wish I had saved that one.
OSU beats Michigan 52-42 to win the Big 10 championship. No defense was played in this game. Smooth's QB 25-27 463 yards 6 TD 1 INT, 2 incompletions were the INT and deflection. Just picked my shitty secondary apart.
Run Ill be free to play tomorrow anytime before 7 cst or after 10 cst.
Also Ill be getting up my pre game pressers tomorrow
So can you start a game around 7:30 pm est?
Congrats Dean on the Big 10 Title win
