Missouri's defense swarms in this one as they win 41-3. True Sophomore Jonathon Shaw had a coming out party at FS. The number 1 recruit in the nation from 2 years ago had 3 INTs in this one returning 2 for TDs. (I couldn't get the video on the 1st one, but it was awesome. He essentially intercepted it and weaved his way through the O-line while breaking a tackle to take it 64 yards for the score).

Stanford dominates at home against Central Michigan, 33-6. Stanford has a tough game against #18 USC looming next week so CMU was a good way for Coach Jam to see exactly what he has on the team.

Notre Dame beats Michigan 35-24 in the Big House. Brandon Stuckey throws for 198 and the running game comes thru in the second half. Gg guru, you're a good edition to the crop.

tOSU wins a thriller 24-20 over Florida. We scored with 50 seconds left in the 4th then we made one last stand. Great Game JCA

A few key mistakes mixed with a number of big plays allowed on defense nearly lead to disaster, as the #1 ranked Tigers held on to beat Miami at Jordan-Hare Stadium 28-24. The Hurricanes maintained the lead until late in the 4th quarter. On their final drive, a 50+ yard pass (see highlight) on 4th and 16, provided Miami with the opportunity to steal this one at the end. A defensive stand in the red-zone sealed the deal.

Wisconsin opened up the season in the worst possible way with a thrashing delivered from #5 North Carolina. Damn you RTP for making that team so great!
