Up 35-3 late in the 3rd quarter, Coach Ego decided to sit his starters, only to see his second unit give up three straight Arkansas scores. When the starting unit re-entered the game, it didn't matter much, as the Razorbacks scored a fourth-straight TD to pull within 3 points. The bleeding finally stopped when Senior QB David Lee, Jr. lead the Tigers on a clutch, 10-play TD drive to seal the win.
Auburn is now 6-0 on the season, but you wouldn't know it from listening to Tiger nation. Fans and local media have berated Coach Ego and the Tigers for their sloppy play this season. Is it only a matter of time before their luck run's out? Ego hopes to get his team fine-tuned in time for their late-season match-ups vs. rivals Georgia and Alabama.
Oregon falls on the road to Ohio State 28-21. Lots of big plays in this game. Great game Dean , maybe ill see you in Eugene next year
Oklahoma State!! Woot!
Auburn is Overrated!! Overrated!! Overrated!
After a slow start and controversial coaching change half way through the season, the Wolverines stayed unbeaten in Big Ten play by easily handling the Indiana Hoosiers.
Up 31-0 in the first half, a lot of the young guys got some playing time, which allowed for the score to get closer than the game actually was.
There wasn't much to write home about in this game, but WR Will Wilson snagged a ball out of the air with one hand and prounced to paydirt for a 70 yard score.
The other main highlight from the game, came out of the newly installed "Wolverine" package (Wildcat to others), where Nate Horton took the hand off on an end around and ran for a 48 yard TD.
Both have been saved on the dynasty wire page for your viewing pleasure.
QB Isaac Parker was the player of the game thanks to his 3 TD's (2 passing, 1 running).
All of the Wolverines work is geared towards "The Game", where the new coach hopes to officially right the ship for the Wolverine faithful.
The Stanford Cardinal get back on track with a 30-7 victory after Coach Jam ripped into his players after losing to Washington last week. Starting RB Jeff Mullins was back in the lineup after battling injury problems all season and was able to record a 100+ yard day.
wow, things are bad for the Vols
Notre Dame suffers a frustrating 29-25 loss to rival Southern Cal. Giving up 180 rushing yards and commiting five turnovers will give you little chance to win.
Florida falls behind 28-7 in the 1st half after Johnny Nicholson threw 4 interceptions. The Gators made some halftime adjustments and shut LSU out in the 2nd half 24-0 to win 31-28. Nicholson ended the day with over 300 passing yards, 2 passing and 1 rushing touchdown to earn the win and Player of the Game honors.
Your ass should have lost you damn scrub.
Georgia wins at Vandy, 49-10. Starters sat with 5 mins left in the 2nd qtr with the Dawgs up 28-0.
Vandy is a D+ Team. Congrats!
Thank You sir!
With Coach GURU having an altercation with the Michigan AD and possibly some other questionable actions taken towards the cheerleading squad, there was an unexpetced call from Penn State University where an offer was made for Coach GURU to take over while Joe Paterno the ageless wonder keeps an "administrative role" within the upper management of the Athletic Department...
With all this being said and done...
The Nittany Lions roll over Iowa 37-10 with the defense stepping up HUGE for Coach GURU holding Iowa to 1 TD and a FG and also taking in a scoop and score fumble, as well as dropping the first deuce of Coach GURU's career... also the offense put up 200 yards rushing, with another 170 through the air... all on the shoulders of RS FR Chris Black...
When asked about the new atmosphere, Coach GURU said, "I am ecstatic to be here, pumped up to be playing in such a nice venue, great fans, great times, and did i mention great cheerleaders?"
When the Administration was asked about the cheerleader reference they declined comment...
Oklahoma State eeks by Nebraska with a HUGE 4th & Goal stop inside the redzone.
Bout to advance us.
Missouri almost blows it. Went into half with a 14 point lead and the ball to start the second half. Missouri was able to control the second half and drive the ball all the way down inside the OU 20. Then on a play action pass QB Joe Adams is hit and he fumbles the ball which OU promptly returns 80+ yards for a TD. Then the stud HB Butler got loose, breaking 3 tackles and rumbling for another 80 yards and the score was 35-35. Missouri drove the ball to the OU 1 yard line with under 2 minutes to go. Instead of kicking the FG they went for it on 4th and goal from the 1 and were stuffed causing a turnover on downs. OU got the ball to mid field before being forced to punt and Mizzou was able to drive the length of the field with 49 seconds left on the clock and kick the game winning field goal.
OU is stacked. The entire offense has a 98 or 99 rating. I think their LG is the only one without a 98 or 99.
