Unfortunately we have to move on from the epic Week 13 Rundown thread
Alabama beats Ohio State in a Double Overtime Thriller.
Lucky for all of you I played for Funk and you will get to watch the entire overtime.
Funk let you play for him? WTF, when did he start smoking crack?
And, dang, I hope Dean's not hanging from a bridge somewhere. It's been a shitty two weeks.
By the way, Auburn's finished recruiting.
Notre Dame beats Pitt 40-14 to finish 11-1
Current BCS standings
1. Auburn 1.00
2. Alabama .992
3. Notre Dame .992
4. North Carolina .983
5. Georgia .978
After learning of the Bama-Ohio State result, I think that Ego will have to lose for the Irish to get into the title game. Even then, Georgia might make a huge jump and get in. I think Bama is in.
I'm the SHIZZZNIT!
Stanford defeats the Rival Cal Bears 36-34
USC steals the bell from UCLA, 38-6.
Can we hurry up and get to championship week? i'm ready to see how the AUB/UGA rematch plays out!!!!!! i still think Ego goes undefeated and wins the NC
As Tuco stated, if I can survive RTP's cheese to his Heisman candidate/slot receiver (Arrighi, Jr.), it looks as if I could face Funk for a re-match in the NC.
Auburn's road to a title has been an absolute war zone this season.
His slot receiver is a damn Heisman Candidate?
There, I fixed it for you. ;-)
dont get me started on your TE's stats
OH!!! Low Blow
Oregon wins the Civil War 35-26
In the final regular season game for Cream of the Crop teams, Florida pulls out a late victory in Ann Arbor at The Big House when Player of the Game, Steve Johnson, capped off a long drive that lasted almost all of the game's final 4:00 with a 3-yard touchdown. Johnson finished the day with 135 total yards and accounted for all 3 of Florida's offensive touchdowns in their 31-24 win. The Gators' winning touchdown came with just :05 left in the game. Michigan did well in the absence of their coach who had to deal with family matters and miss their game.
I look forward to facing you in the future smooth, you're doing a great job bringing in talent. The team was much better than last year when we played. Good luck man.
The Auburn Tigers lose a tough one to the Bulldogs, 34-21. Georgia played tough and hit hard in this one, knocking Auburn's Heisman hopeful, Justin Wilson, out of the game in the 2nd quarter. As Wilson crossed the goal line for his second score of the day, a hit to the hand lead to a dislocated wrist. QB Jarvis Sanders and SS Benjamin Star were also lost for the remainder of the season.
Despite the injuries, however, the Bulldogs won the "big play" contest tonight, and that's what ultimately lead them to victory. One play in particular was perhaps the sickest one-handed grab I've seen in this game. Right before the half, following an Auburn score, Adam Wright threw a BOMB down the field that looked like it would be easily intercepted. But then, out of nowhere, a Georgia receiver (wearing a cape), goes up and ... BLAM! ... snatches the ball from the sky with his sticky palm! The Tigers held the Bulldogs to a FG, but it was suddenly a 2-possession game heading into the half. HUGE play/momentum grabber.
Great game, Run. I had some tough luck in this one, but you played the better game.
Now if only we hadn't had that disconnect. ;-)
Haha, as painful as this loss was, I feel that we took a step forward as a program. I look forward to taking the next step in '21.
Good luck in the NC game. SEC, baby!
