    Texas 27 - West Virginia 15

Another interesting game. Their 3-3-5 shut down the run, but I was able to pass the ball all over them. On offense we showed we will take what the defense gives us, which this game was the pass. On defense it was another solid showing, only giving up 15 points to a high powered, no-huddle offense.

The Crimson Tide rebounded from the disappointing week 1 loss to Notre Dame by defeating the Ole Miss Rebels in the SEC Opener for both teams. Trailing 17-10 going into the 2nd half the Crimson Tide made a few personnel adjustments and responded to outscore the Rebels 35-0 in the 2nd half to cruise to a 45-17 win.
