Crimson Tide Gets Started Early In Win Over Iowa

The Crimson Tide tried a different approach from the first two weeks of the season as they jumped out to a lead early instead of playing catch-up. The Crimson Tide scored 28 first half points as the defense the Hawkeye offense in check. The Alabama defense played much better as they did not allow Iowa any points until late in the 3rd quarter when the Crimson Tide began making mass substitutions in the game.

    Texas 27 - Penn State 13

More of the same in week 3. Defense was able to keep the Longhorns in the game and offense was able to score enough points to secure a victory. Texas got back dual-threat QB Newton this game who was injured in game 1. The option offense was firing on all cylinders when Newton went down again with injury that took him out for the game. UT will have to find a way to use his athleticism and keep him healthy at the same time.

Me and Ford had a real good game 17-14 untill halftime.....a real chess match.....then the 3rd QT came. 1st play from scrimage he throws one up to the WR and I have a real good chance for the pick or atleast a ez swat.....I take controll of the DB and blow it = 80ish yard TD. 3 ints and a fumble later (all on my 1st few plays of the drive and the Auburn Tigers are stomped out 34-14. Ford played great but Me and our Qb was his best friend in the 2nd half....I would look to a WR and see him (the DB, LB) standing there and throw it anyway.....his blitz had me shook....all props to Ford and the LSU tigers in a great game....
