I use to play fantasy football and there toward the end we had a very detailed scoring system. So what I am basically doing is using is a modified version of that scoring system that awards points for Td, yards, tackles, int, ect... What I did was take the stat out put from the dynasty wire (a different league) and and applied the scoring system. The I evaluated where players were and the type of stats they had and I had to made a couple changes. A few areas were overvalued and a couple were undervalued. I kept tweaking until I had a a top 20 that looked good based on a years worth of stats. I also added bonus points to take into account if the stats were produced in user vs user games. I did that with the thinking that stats in user vs user game have a higher values and you should be rewarded for that.

So now what I do is take the top players for each users team and input their stats from the game. Sort it out and boom, POTW. If it goes as planned I am looking at using the year end stats to create a Z2H user All-American team from only our players.

Heck you should have seen the spreadsheet i created in 1994 at work. It was to determine a National Champion in football based on wins, score, home/road game, your opponents w/l record, and your opponents opponent w/l record. Kinda of like the BCS. It went over so well that I had my boss telling me my first job each Monday was to get the poll generated. My boss and his boss loved CFB. We did this for 2 years.

My bad. I must have missed that one. It was not even close for week 5. The pick 6 allowed him to pull away from 2nd place.
