Texas barely avoids tripping on the 2nd to last hurdle of the regular season like they did last year beating Texas A&M 42-34. Kenny Boyd was a monster coming in after starting quarterback Jeff Caldwell went down with an injury again. Boyd completed 17 of his 23 passes for 297 yards, 2 touchdowns and a pick. Boyd also ran the ball 5 times for 42 yards and 2 more touchdowns on the ground. Boyd has done a great job auditioning for the starting job next year.

Notre Dame pulls out a second miracle win over a Pac 10 opponent this season with a 22-19 win over Stanford. Trailing 19-7 with under three minutes left, the Irish get a score to get within 19-14. ND uses all their timeouts before Stanford picks up a first down. There is 52 seconds left and the Cardinal is faced with a third down. I was expecting a kneel-down but Stanford throws the ball, which is batted down at the line of scrimmage. Notre Dame gets the ball at their own 33 with 41 seconds to go. On the first play Stanford blitzes seven defenders and leaves a receiver completely uncovered. He races 67 yards for the touchdown and game winner.

Missouri beats undefeated Fresno State 49-17. They were up most of the first half, but our D was able to pick it up in the second half.
