I am breathing a sigh of relief right now since we didn't drop to a two star program after not going bowling.

bout time someone takes Nebraska back to true form....

one of the dumbest moves i've ever seen in the sport of football was Nebraska firing Frank Solich and hiring that moron Callahan and a west coast scheme.

the for hiring Pelini instead of Paul Johnson. there loss

David you know I have a lot of respect for Paul Johnson but Pellini is a hell of a coach and will do very well at Nebraska. They will probably be more successful in the long run than GT is with Johnson.

I agree with both of you, I thought Paul Johnson would have been perfect for Nebraska but Pelini is very good and will do well

Firing Solich was one of the worst moves in college football history. They lost a few games because they couldn't throw the ball and panicked.

WTF!! Pelini is a hell of a coach. look at how LSU's Defense fell off after he left. Look at the turn he did since being in Nebraska..He will give tOSU a run for their money once the BIG RED hit the Big Ten

I will have to disagree on that. Paul Johnson has already won the ACC, and will win many more. I am almost willing to bet Pelini will never win a Conf Title during his time.

Yea, there defense might be good during his tenure, but they wont be worth a shit on offense, and it will cost them.

Paul Johnson would have been a great fit at Nebraska but I think Pellini is a great coach also. He can hire a better OC that can get the offense improved but as long as he is the head coach that defense is going to a premier defense.

I think Paul is happier at Tech than he would have been at Nebraska anyways and I think he will be at Georgia Tech a long time as long as they don't panic if he has a couple of down years at some point. Paul is a great coach and that offense works if people give it a chance, but most people can't stand the thought of running the ball that much now a days, which is just dumb.

They will develop an offense I have no doubts about that. With the defense The Huskers will field, it won't have to be explosive just efficient.

You can't compare an ACC title to a Big 12 title. Let's be honest, the ACC is no where NEAR the league the Big 12 has been. And with Nebraska moving to the Big 10 shortly they will be in an even better conference and one that I think Nebraska will be very capable of winning.

I just don't see Nebraska beating out Ohio State in the Big Ten. OSU has just dominated the Big Ten since Jim Tressell's arrival.

And the Big 12 has been overrated for quite some time I think.

Ohio State is overrated. And yes the Big 12 is overrated as well, but they are still better than the ACC.

Whose record are you referring to? The Big 12 vs the ACC or Ohio State?
