You can essentially take whatever route you want here. You can preview your season, your program... detailed efforts are encouraged, but a legitimate effort is required. Remember, this league is what we make it.

Robert Griffin III is gone. Abandoning the program he vowed to rebuild, Griffin took his talents to the NFL's first round. In comes a new face, though. Relatively obscure Offensive Coordinator Nick Berta offers little hope to a program in the dumps. The talent is there, but the quarterback is unproven. Morale is low. The schedule is tough. The players are used to losing.

Projected Offensive Starters (Last Season's Stats):
    QB: Nick Florence--SR (2/4, 18 yards)
    RB: Jarred Salubi--SR (105 rushes, 557 yards, 7 TD)
    WR: Josh Gordon--SR (27 catches, 298 yards, 4 TD)
    WR: Terrance Williams--SR (29 catches, 425 yards, 3 TD)
    WR: Tevin Reese--JR (19 catches, 287 yards, 5 TD)
    TE: Jerod Monk--SR (33 catches, 405 yards, 5 TD)
    LT: Troy Baker--JR
    LG: Cameron Kaufhold--SR
    C: Stefan Huber--JR
    RG: Jake Jackson--SR
    RT: Ivory Wade--SR

    Key Games:
    Week 1: Virginia Tech
    Week 2: @ Tulane
    Week 4: @ #22 Texas
    Week 5: Fresno State
    Week 8: #10 Oklahoma State
    Week 10: #23 Texas A&M
    Week 12: @ #3 Oklahoma
    Week 13: @ Iowa State

Coming off his first season as a Head Coach, Coach E lead the Bulldogs to an 8-5 record with a WAC Championships and a Humanitarian Bowl win. However, having lost his biggest offensive and defensive threat and this being the final year of his contract, this could be an interesting year for Louisiana Tech. Tarik Hakmi looks to lead the Bulldogs as QB again this season and put the folks of Ruston on his back towards winning a second WAC Championship.

    Key Games:
    Week 2 at Southern Miss
    Week 3 vs. Auburn
Week 5 at San Diego State
    Week 7 vs. Fresno State

Offensive Player to Watch: Senior Quarterback Tarik Hakmi

Defensive Player to Watch: Senior Linebacker Solomon Randle

The true question is, what will happen at the end of the season? Coach E has made a splash onto the scene as a legitimate head football coach, but it is yet to be seen as to what kind of interest he will generate from other schools at this season's end.

Going into Year 2 with Coach ChaoticUT at the helm Southern Miss faithful should expect a lot of the same from last year. Heisman runner up from a year ago Kendrick Hardy hopes to led a young and inexperience Southern Miss team to a C-USA title that they fell just short of a year ago. "Anything but a title championship will be seen as a disappointment for this program.", said the 2nd year Head Coach.

Coming off a great season of 11-2 SDSU look to continue their winning ways in Y2.

We were able to secure a top 40 recruiting class that included three 4 star WRs. We lost our leader a starting QB Lindley to the NFL who was the 7th pick for the 49ers. However he was the only player we lost on offense and we are bringing back every else including Heisman Finalist Hillman. This year we will go as far as Hillman takes us because we dont have the same luxury at QB as before. As for a defense we also lost a 1st round pick in OLB Burris so we still need some talent on that side of the ball but hopefully Coach Capp hit the recruiting trail as he did last year to get us some talent.

Trojans Look to Build on 9-4 Season

Troy enters their 2nd season under the leadership of Coach Uagrad and re looking to improve on last years 9-4 record which saw them win the Sun Belt Conference Title as well as defeating SMU in the New Orleans Bowl. After a tense off season where several larger schools tried to sway coach uagrad into leaving Troy to a coordiantor, he decided to stay put and continue to build the Troy program.

To help Coach uagrad in his efforts QB Corey Robinson decided to stay at Troy for his Red-shirt JR season. Last season Robinson did an excellent job in leading the Trojans with over 2000 yard passing. Robinson will look to Red-shirt SR HB Chris Anderson to take up the slack after JR HB Southward opted for NFL after rushing for 1500 yards. Anderson saw plenty of action last year as he rushed for just under 50 yards. The big question mark for teh Trojans on offense will be at WR and O-line. Even though Troy returns several WR they are inexperienced and lack the big play abilities of last years receivers. The line will be talented but young so some growing pains are expected in this area.

The Trojans season will hing on if the young guys in the front 7 step up this year. Troy lost their AA defensive end to the NFL and 3 of their starting LBs to graduation. A lot of younger guys are being asked to step up and help solidify the defense. The secondary will have a little more experience but it still lacks a game changer.

The upcoming season looks to be challenging as the Trojans will host Oklahoma St in week 3 followed by a road game to Lincoln in week 5. The middle of the year has a difficult home game with Arkansas State followed by a road game at FAU the next week. The Trojans wrap up the season with 2 of their final 3 games on the road which includes a challenging road trip to Denton Texas to face North Texas.

In a move to improve on their 7-6 record, Iowa State University hires former Idaho head Coach Maij as Defensive Coordinator forthe 2011 season, while at Idaho Coach Maij's defense was ranked #11 nationally last season.

    Defense Outlook

All the talk entering the season is focused around applying more pressure to opposing quarterbacks, as the unit managed to tally just 11 sacks in 2010. Despite the inability to get into opposing backfields, the defense finished seventh in the conference in total defense (408.2).

Both defensive ends from a year ago return, but that’s not likely to solve the problem of getting to the quarterback. Jacob Lattimer has the chance of showing the most improvement, as he ended up leading the team with four sacks. He moved to the position after starting the first half of the season at linebacker.

Pass defense was a strength in 2011 and a talented tandem returns in senior Ter’Ran Benton and Leonard Johnson. The secondary finished sixth in the conference in pass defense and that number is likely to improve.

In year two coach Dream returns the reigning mid american conference champions! Lead by senior quarterback Ryan Radcliff, and his supporting cast of SR WR Jerry Harris, and newcomer TR FR HB Ryan Jenkins. Both Harris and Jenkins have big shoes to fill as WR Tyler Wilson went pro and agile freak HB Paris Cotton graduated. CMU has a tough schedule facing ND for the second season in a row in K/S Stadium. Hopefully this year will turn out better than last. We also take on the Bulldogs of FSU lead by coach Fred, and Tulane lead by coach Ford. We expect nothing less than a MAC Championship and to finish the season in the top 25. Anything less would be uncivilized.

Welcome to the 2012 Arkansas State Red Wolves Season Preview

    Offense
This year the Red Wolves are coming back strong from a 6-6 overall season last year. The Red Wolves their record breaking hb last year but that doesnt have Coach Sabo worried.
"This year were returning alot of starters from last years team. Although we lost our starting half back due to graduation i feel we have two guys who are ready to step up and take the reigns. Sophomore Singregory Thornton won the starting position during the offeason but will be sharing the spot light with Junior Frankie Jackson. We are returning our starting Quarterback Ryan Aplin and he intends to make a statement in his senior year."

    Defense
For 2012 the defense looks to make more of an impact than last year. The Red Wolves will move away from the traditional 4-2-5 Red Wolve defense and go to a more multiple look. The defense has worked really hard during the offseason and wants to show the college football world that just because they are from the Sun Belt Conference doesnt mean they cant play with the BCS Schools.

    Outlook
After last years season and having to sit out during the bowls the Red Wolves want to make sure that wont happen again. According to Coach Sabo the Red Wolves have been redesigned on both offense and defense. He claims that last year was just a work in progress and this year the fans will begin to see what he is trying to accomplish with this team. With big names on the schedule this year for the Red Wolves and a rival heavy Sun Belt Conference the Red Wolves work wont be easy at all. So with that being said i will make a bold prediction for the Red Wolves for the 2012 season........My prediction is the Red Wolves will finish 6-6 again. Although Coach Sabo has stated that there have been improvements that has yet to be seen. We all know actions speak louder than words.

    Thanks for reading

Florida Atlantic Owls Season 2 Preview

The Owls finished YR1 7-6 and lost a simmed bowl game to end the year. Unfortunetly for the Owls they lost a lot of key players including Co-Defensive Z2H's Player of the Year Jarvis Givens, and their leading rusher from a year ago.

The Owls look to take advantage on offense with the chemistry that was built last year between QB David Kooi, WR DeAndre Richardson, WR Bryon Hankerson, and TE Darian Williams.

On Defense the Owls are lead by DT David Baptiste, and Jimmy Jean, while LB David Hinds, and SS Tony Rodriguez look to keep the Owls from giving up too many points.

The Owls again face a very intimidating schedule:

    Mississippi State
    Cincinatti
    Texas A&M
    Northern Illinois
    UL Lafayette
    North Texas
    Troy
    Mid Tennessee State
    Arkansas State
    Western Kentucky
    FIU
    UL Monroe
