    Washington State Rebounds Against ECU
    [IMG]
It wasn't looking good for the Cougars early. ECU had jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter. After that, it was all Cougars. Washington State would go on a 31-7 run where they just completely dominated the Pirates. ECU was able to close it back up some, but it was too little, too late. Washington State would win 34-24.

I can't get my game in tonight. Work calls. I'll be able to tomorrow, but I won't be offended if someone advances at 7 PM.

Miss State held on to win a defensive battle over West Division rival Auburn 21-13. The Bulldogs limited their turnovers and State defense stiffened in the red zone and held the Tigers to 1 TD and 2 FGs. In the 2nd half the Bulldog run game began to wear down the Tiger defense and the Bulldogs scored 2 4th Qtr TDs to earn the win.

    Arizona State 45, Minnesota 31
For the second straight week, the Gophers found themselves behind 21-0 early in the game. Unfortunately, the hole was too big to dig out of and Minnesota was unable to mount the comeback that they did in week one. The Gophers still managed to put up 507 yards of offense on the Sun Devils (including 394 passing) but they were ultimately playing catch up the whole game and their defense could not stop an equally impressive Arizona State offense (514 total offense).
MarQuies Gray paced the Gophers completing 21-of-41 pass attempts for 394 yards and three touchdowns. Gray also added 33 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Jamel Harbison was the beneficiary of most of those Gray pass attempts hauling in seven catches for 201 yards and a score. Ben Perry did all that he could defensively recording 3.5 sacks, however the secondary just could not keep track of the ASU receivers all game.
