    WISCONSIN 20
    PURDUE 23 (OT)

West Lafayette, Ind. - After an overtime thriller, the Boilermakers hang on by the hair of their chinny, chin chin once again. Purdue was able to sustain a late Badgers surge and come away with a three-point overtime victory.

After jumping out to a 17-0 first-half lead, the Boilermakers started playing conservatively and paid the price. Wisconsin went on to score 20 unanswered points, including a 10-yard touchdown pass from QB Danny O'Brien to TE Jacob Pedersen to tie the game at 17 with 0:52 remaining in regulation.

After Purdue won the toss and chose to play defense to begin overtime, the Boilermakers were able to hold a tight defensive front and force the Badgers to kick a field goal. Having not scored since midway through the second quarter, the Boilermakers picked a great time to put together their best sequence of the game.

RB Ralph Bolden led the way, carrying the ball five times for 16 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown run to give Purdue their second Big Ten win of the season.

QB Caleb TerBush once again turned out a phenomenal performance, completing 20 of 30 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Bolden added 17 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Purdue currently sits atop the Big Ten Leaders division with a 2-0 conference record. That will once again be put to the test next week as Purdue plays their third ranked foe in as many weeks, heading to The Horseshoe to take on Ohio State.

      R. Mackey pass to V. Sanders for 37yds

Oh its a big win for the Rebels as Ole Miss pulls away from a stunned Auburn team. AU is just not all they are cracked up to be as they drop to 2-4 on the year. Ole Miss used a nice blend of big play passing and strong D to dominate the Eagles from start to finish.

AU was dealt a huge blow in the first quarter as their star RB, Onterio McCalebb, suffered a concussion as was lost for the game. After that, thier offense sputtered. Meanwhile their D was atrocious in the secondary. We couldn't run, but we could sure pass. So we quickly went up top and stayed their. QB Randall Mackey had a huge bounce back game throwing for 375 with multi TDs.

Overall it wass a season saving win for Ole Miss as they edge closer to bowl eligibility. Final score - Ole Miss 45, Auburn 27.

    Hoosiers Hang Tough
Lose Battle with #9 Ohio State
This week, Indiana drops their third straight conference game and fall to (3-3) overall after putting up a tremendous effort but falling short to the Buckeyes 23 - 14. The Hoosiers actually held a 1-point lead at the half after HB Stephen Houston scored on a 36-yard TD pass with :22 remaining, but Ohio State was able to completely shutdown the Indiana offense and stop the upset bid.
Next week, the Hoosiers look to get back above .500 when they go on the road to face Navy.
