The Golden Flash used a new found rushing attack and pounded their way to 28-13 win and made themselves bowl eligible on the year. Kent State was very balanced rushing for 178 yard while passing for another 170 yards. The Golden Flash hope to continue to build on their balanced attack as they travel to face Ohio to close out the regular season.

    Miracle On the Road
MTSU had 1 second on the clock and was 75 yards away from the end zone. Third string QB Shaun White dropped back and hit a streaking John Dickerson who slipped behind the defense and scored as MTSU defeated Arkansas St 30-24. "I was worried how we'd play this week after getting spanked on the road last week, but our guys showed a lot of heart. They could've quit when we lost our 2nd QB this year in the 2nd quarter or when ArSt went up with a FG with 1 second remaining, but they fought till the end." MTSU finishes up the year with #4 UL-Monroe and then on the road at Troy. They'll need wins in both games to reach a bowl game.
