Beat down OSU, then had a transfer error. Was 48-10. Really tried to put it to them for style points with the BCS. Of course i had to sim victory a few times, forgot what the score was... Too bad too because Roy Roundtree set a school receiving record for a game and now that no longer happened. OSU couldn't get any offense going. I really like my switch to the 4-2-5 / 3-3-5 hybrid.

Crimson Tide Stage 2nd Half Come Back
Knock Off #2 Tigers to Win the SEC West

In a game that would decide who would win the SEC West and earn the trip to Atlanta to face Tennessee and a potential shot a National Title, the 3rd ranked Crimson Tide hosted Coach Fred and his 2nd ranked Auburn Tigers. AS expected the Tigers came out smoking hot as the Crimson Tide could not get off the field. The Crimson Tide faced several 3rd down situations only to see the Tigers to convert each time leading to an early 7-0 lead for Auburn. The Crimson Tide moved the ball a little but could not answer. The Tigers extended the lead to 10-0 after intercepting a pass and converting on a 47 yard FG. The Tigers continued to shut down the Alabama attack and with 1:32 left in the half connected on a 74 yard TD pass. Alabama was able to drive into the red zone but missed a short FG as time ran out in the half. In the 3rd qtr Alabama took the kick off and marched 80 yards and scored on a 35 yard TD run by Lacy to pull to within 10 at 17-7. On the ensuing drive the Crimson Tide picked off a pass and returned it 19 yard for a score and suddenly it was 17-14. The Crimson Tide defense was able to force a punt and proceeded to drive the field scored on 3rd and goal early in the final quarter to take the lead 21-17. The remainder of the game was controlled by the defenses as Alabama held and forced on turnover on downs late in the game. Lacy and the Crimson Tide line were able to pickup the needed 1st down and Alabama ran out the clock and earned the upset win over #2 Auburn and a trip to Atlanta to play for the SEC Title.

Great game Fred Limbo as usual. Closing the year against you and fordtuff504 I know how Pat Dye felt about Amen Corner.

Hawkeyes beat Michigan State 38-13, Coach E benched all of his starters for the second half to save them for a hopeful BCS Bowl Game. Vandenberg was solid 11/19 for 178 yards and 2 TD, TE CJ Fiedorowicz ended his Kinnick Stadium career with a career day of his own with 5 catches for 127 yards and 2 TD. The Hawkeye D was solid again, with 6 sacks on the day. The Hawkeyes have recorded over 40 sacks as a defensive unit this season. Now its a waiting game to see where they will be headed over the Holidays.
