Wow! What a wild game. I am up 28-24 with just under 2 minutes left, but they get the ball back and march down the field only to have my best defensive player Devonte Holloman make an interception in the endzone. Next play Lattimore breaks it for a touchdown to seal the win with just under a minute left. As South Carolina holds onto beat TCU 35-24. The Gamecock offense looked stellar in every area except for turnovers, which they had six of. The offense tallied 429 yards, including 200 on the ground from Lattimore on 21 carries. Clifford played better going 15-23 for 234 yards, but of his 8 incompletions 5 were picks! I think he is going to give me a heart attack, it might be time to sit him down for a while. The coaching staff is pleased with the progress of the Gamecocks on both sides of the ball from last week despite the many mistakes. Next up Georgia, we certainly can not afford 6 turnovers against them or it will get ugly.
way to hang on for the W king. looks like im not the only who is thinking about sitting the QB on the bench
Western Kentucky is freaking awful. My starters played one quarter, the backups one quarter, and the third stringers the. They were so bad my 4th string RB racked up 125 yards running between the tackles for a quarter to drain the clock. Just pathetic. 52-7 final
Edit: Just realized this, a 100 point turnaround from last week to this week.
way to get back in the win column wreck...bet you feel better already
Now we have a bye week to prepare for North Carolina. That will be one of the most important games of the season for us.
I really want to play Clifford but if he keeps averaging his 4.5 INTs per game he is going to have to see the bench. But he is 100% my QB next year so I want to give him a chance early in the season.
52-7 you wont score that many agains the TERPS my friend
We will probably only need to score 17 to win if it is anything like last year
Oklahoma State implodes on the road being down 24-0 in the second qtr at one point....to come back and still lose on a GW-Field Goal by the Ducks. Their offense was tough and our offense was turning the ball over with stupid turnovers.
Back to the drawing board. Final 27-24 Oregon
Dang tough loss. I had the same problem with turnovers and it almost cost me. Gotta bounce back next week.
yep, i just love that the cpu is competive in this years game and if you play like shit and make poor decisions like i did....you lose. kind of refreshing even though it sucks of course to take a loss.
but at least it wasnt a conf loss on the bright side.
Auburn blanks UAB 55-0 for the 1st win of the season
Ya I agree, I like the cpu being competitive. Last year playing the cpu kind of got monotonous and boring.
Bama starts out strong and gets a 21-3 lead at the half over Iowa. Iowa gets a few breaks in the second half off of turnovers and makes a couple big plays and makes it a respectable game. Final score Bama rolls 38-25. Only one Iowa TD was on offense. Bama is 2-0.
Miami is off to another good start in 2011, improving to 2-0 with an impressive 34-0 win over #6 Ohio State. Lamar Miller led the Canes again with 141 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Jacory Harris threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and freshman tight end Jeff Hayes was again the leading receiver catching 5 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Miami heads out on the road for the first time next week when they head to Maryland for their ACC opener against GSU and his Terps.
Damn the Big 10 is weak. You have destroyed Ohio State the past two years.
51-3, I'm sure glad JFunk isn't there anymore, they have a good team. We were able to keep Pryor contained in both games because we have a lot of speed on defense and we controlled the ball with our running game. It looks like Iowa came back gave JFunk a bit more of a game, I bet they win the Big 10.
Maryland falls late in the 4th with under a min to go. Clemson 17-13
#13 Nebraska overcomes slow start, turnovers knocks off Wyoming, 31-21
Boise State's NCAA record 62-game home winning streak comes to end by the way of a 45-0 execution from Oklahoma
Colo plays tough till the final whistle as UGA wins 27-7.
FCS was not much of a game. Gabbert comes out before half and the 1st and 2nd string backs get a lot of reps. Mizzou 70- FCS 0. (scores looks bad, but 14 were pick 6 and 7 was me running the ball down the middle of the field to eat clock. I promise I don't run up scores.).
LOL. It's all good. It's G-Unit's fault for scheduling a FCS team.
