SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Roadrunners are able to secure another win in a wild one that came down to the last second. Arizona struck 1st on a HUGE play with a punt return for a TD. UTSA would answer back and it would go back and 4th until the final minutes. The Roadrunners were able to catch Arizona off guard with several run plays late in the game and were able to hit a field goal with no time left for a win.

Buffalo Starts Hot, Get 1st Win Over An AQ Opponent
    [IMG]
Buffalo, NY - After last week's disappointment, Buffalo was hungry and they were facing an opponent that was prime for an upset. True Freshmen QB Ashton Herring got the Bulls started off right when he broke a tackle and ran 75 yards for a TD and a quick lead. Later in the 1st, Herring was showing that he could do it through air as well as on the ground. He would hit WR Fred Lee for a 9 yard TD pass to give Buffalo a 14-0 lead. UConn RB Lyle McCombs wouldn't let that stand. He would have 2 huge runs back to back in the 2nd quarter of 48 and 64 yards to make it even at 14-14.
Buffalo would regain control though later in the 2nd by adding another 10 points for a 24-14 lead at halftime. The 2 teams would go scoreless in the 3rd quarter, but Buffalo would extend their lead to 31-14 behind a TD run by star RB Branden Oliver. UConn would score again later in the 4th to make it 31-21 but it was too little too late.
