In a huge win for the program, the Baylor Bears have knocked off Big Brother Texas 38-17 for just the second time since 1997. Senior QB Nick Florence threw for 379 yards, Senior HB Jarred Salubi rushed for 176 yards, and Senior WR Josh Gordon hauled in 160 yards. With the nation's top offense, Baylor is proving to be a threat in the Big XII. Offensive Coordinator Nick Berta is becoming a hot commodity amongst coaching circles, but it is unknown whether or not his success will lead to a BCS Head Coaching offer.

Baylor now stands at 1 game over .500 in the history of the program, at 543-542-43.

Fred won by a considerable margin. The redzone is what killed me. I threw an INT, and also had a 4th down go bad. He's a good running coach. Although the score didn't show it, i had a shot at winning the game, just didn't get some breaks that I needed. A few times the right play was called on D, and my guys just didn't execute. Would of made a world of difference in the score. Look forward to continuing to build this team with better players and facing fred again in the future.

It was a good fight things just seamed to go my way after the 1st QT. I was down 10-0 going into the 2nd QT. After an nice drive we scored to make it 10-7. Joe came back down the field and turned the ball over we got lucky and scored 14 more points in the last 54 sec of the half to take a 21-10 lead in to the locker room. We came out in the 3rd and added a FG to go up 24-10 Joe put together a strong drive inside my 5 and his QB fumbled the ball. On the next play my HB took the ball 93 yards for the score to basically kill and comeback hopes. The game could have easily been 24-17 at that point..

    Ruston, LA -

This is by far the biggest win of Coach E's career thus far, as the Bulldogs took down #11 Auburn at home this week. A key stat to this game, was the fact that Auburn HB Michael Dyer played less than a quarter in the game due to injury. Dyer, took the ball out of the shotgun and while attempting a pass was hit hard by Louisiana Tech, injuring his shoulder. Dyer would fumble on the play and the Bulldogs would pick the ball up for a touchdown. Louisiana Tech star WR and KR Richie Casey was injured on the first kickoff of the game, but two young guys stepped in and made plays that would lead Louisiana Tech to the win. Tech, who was up 28-7 at the end of the third, faltered a bit in the 4th, giving up two touchdowns, but their D stepped up and would give their offense the ball with 2:00 left. Two first downs later after some hard-nosed rushing, the clock expired and Tech was victorious.

    Louisiana Tech - 28
    #11 Auburn - 21
