Bears win in a wild one, 55-49. Baylor is again ranked in the top ten, but turmoil is brewing in the coaching offices. First-year Offensive Coordinator Nick Berta wants out. After the defense has given up nearly 100 points in the last two weeks, performance is a key focus of his complaints. However, the coach has a bigger issue: sportsmanship. Head Coach Art Briles pulled the offense off of the field with just 25 seconds remaining after QB Nick Florence kneeled for the third time, killing the clock. On came the field goal unit, and the Bears converted. Berta was quoted by reporters as saying, "That's just bush league. Sure, it looks better. But where is the respect? That's not what I stand for. That's not what I came here for. I passed up San Jose State's head job. I left Colorado State. We may not have been powers, but we respect our opponents. I'll take any head coaching job offered to me in a flash this offseason. I just pray someone will give me the chance."

    HIGHLIGHTS failed to load.

Last second field goal beats toledo. I've had three straight crazy, competitive game. From goat to hero, our kicker misses a 42 yards, only to get a chance to redeem himself on a 30 some yarder. Toledo called 3 straight time outs and didn't put me into the clutch kick mode, weird. I was able to shut down Eric Page by keying on him EVERY PLAY of the game. I also got a safety right before half. Was key to getting this victory. Who runs a read option when your QB is 5 yards in the endzone? EA play calling is ridiculous. Cost Toledo this game. Stupid.

    Trojans Slip Past FAU 28-14

Troy defeated FAU 28-14 in what was a tough hard nosed bar room brawl. Troy Struck first and took the lead in the first qtr only to see the Owls come right back and tie the game early in the 2nd qtr. Each team scored once more in the 2nd qtr to make the halftime score 14-14 and set the stage for the 2nd half. In the 3rd qtr each team's defense started to exert themselves and neither team could score. In the final qtr the Trojans connected on a swing pass and just barely beat the FAU defenders to the goal line to retake the lead at 21-14. The score stayed this was until late as Troy was trying to grind out the clock they sprung loose their HB on a 30 yard TD run to make the final 28-14.

After the game I encountered the transfer failed error and no stats, pics or videos were uploaded. When we advanced the game was simmed, and I did get a sim win but the score shown is 45-19. This game was much much closer than that.

Great game by csboiler. Good hard fought slug fest which I enjoyed very much.

Hmmm this transfer error is getting to be a pain in the ass, I admit that I haven't been following it too closely, but do we know what's causing it, when it might be fixed, etc. I see Tiger got an L because of this when he shouldn't have.

I know TSO has a thread going that is supposedly going directly to EA to accumulate data. I think one thing that helps prevent problems for me (so it seems) is if I let the highlights run after the game instead of advancing through them to the exit menu.

It supposedly will be fixed with the second patch.

CP good info to try. I click through the highlights. I will start letting them run before i make my videos. Give me a chance to use the restroom and then get a drink while it does that.

    Ruston, LA -

After two weeks off, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs took care of Nevada in their first WAC game of the season. The defending WAC champions had a very balanced run attack, combined with some big touchdown passes which put them to the win over the Wolfpack. The Bulldogs rushed for nearly 200 yards, with the majority coming from HB Tyrone Duplessis' 127 yards on 5 carries. WR Carey Fortson stepped up big with both of his catches being touchdowns. The Bulldogs will take on the feaux Bulldogs of Fresno State next week in a game that in all likelihood could decide the WAC.

    Louisiana Tech - 28
    Nevada - 24

Fresno St Beast up New Mexico St 52- 7
In a game dominated by Fresno Run where 2 players hovered around 150 yards rushing Fresno looked very good. With QB Carr out for the game due to violation of team rules RS Freshman Marcuse McDade lead the Bulldogs attack throwing 11 passes but only completing 4 but of the 4 completions 3 where for TD's and 0 ints. This puts Fresno to 6-2 on the year and with a huge game coming up next week vs La Tech the Bulldogs will be working hard to prepair.
