The Golden Flash rebounded from last week heart breaking Triple OT loss to Buffalo and defeated Northern Illinois 34-28 to stay alive in the Western Division of the MAC standings. Kent State controlled the clock (23:52 to 10:52) as they rolled up 403 yards of offense but were unable to put NIU away as they continued to come back everytime Kent built a lead greater than 10 points. But the Golden Flash held on and stayed alive with a huge game vs maij17 and Eastern Michigan.
