Michigan beats rival Auburn for two straight
    37-22

Michigan managed to get ahead early vs auburn. Michigan hit a quick homerun with Schneider on a 32 yd run in the first quarter. From there, we had auburn going backwards for the most part. Still in the first, a desperate Coach Fred got his team w/in first down distance on his own 30 something and attempted a fake punt, which was stuffed. From that moment, michigan knew they had the game, still only leading 7-0. We played it conservatively knowing the the defense was playing fantastic and got another 3 at the start second, out of freds gamble. From there, we traded punts till the 2:34 in the second when fred, who probably had negative yards, broke off a 55 yard run with the Speedster HB Mason. After trading more punts, That score would carry us into half. Auburn received the ball at half. Coach Dream was nervous about a second half let down knowing that Coach Fred is ahead in the all time series, despite his struggles on offese in the first half. On the kick off, Auburn fumbled and michigan got the ball again. Gardner ended up punching it in. The two teams then traded some punts. From there, michigan on a 3rd and long, spread the field out.

Knowing the Auburn was desperate to get a turn over, figured that Fred instructed his DBs to play the pass first, BIG MISTAKE, gardner took a draw 28 yards TO THE HOUSE, putting michigan ahead 24-7! From there michigan punched it in again from 1 yard out with K. Brown for a 31-7 lead! Knowing auburn was going to need to pass to get back in this game we mixed up our blitzes and managed to get another turn over that turned into a 53 Yard FG from B Gibbons.

Late in the 4th auburn said F it and just started throwing bombs, which worked. Two touchdowns in less than two minutes and they had some breathing room. Michigan, knowing auburn was bringing the heat, threw up a DEEP bomb to it's #1 WR, no one around for 25 yards, and he MISSES the ball. Couldn't believe it. From there we pound the ball and use up freds remaining TO's and some clock. The punt team came on the field, but, seeing that it was under 60 yards for a FG and an opportunity to make sure the game was out of reach, Coach Dream Sent RS SR B.Gibbons back on the field for a 58 yarder which he made with a yard or two to spare!

Good game fred! Made it interesting late! Hope to see you in the NC.

Iowa beat Oklahoma State 31-10, in a big rebound game for the Hawkeyes. Quarterback Austin Glaser threw for over 330 yards and 3 TD, with HB De'Andre Johnson also having a big game. The Hawkeye D came up with 3 INT and played an all around great game....then of course we get the dreaded TF and I super simmed a 24-21 win.

Crimson Tide Rallies Late to Defeat #11 Seminoles 24-21

The 11th ranked Seminoles traveled to Tuscaloosa for the return match after the two teams tangled in Tallahassee last season which the Tide won 35-17. After the Crimson Tide jumped out to a 7-0 the game was frozen and the two coaches agreed to resume the game the next night with Alabama leading 7-0. After resuming the game the next night the two teams traded possessions when the Crimson Tide pinned the Seminoles deep inside their 10 with a well placed punt. After the 1st play gained a couple yards the Seminoles struck quickly when HB Freeman took the hand off and went around left end and raced 90 yards for the tying score. The Crimson Tide was looking to respond when McCarron misread the defense and was intercepted by CB Rhodes who raced 50 yards for the score and quieted the Alabama fans as Florida State grab a 14-7 lead. The two defense continued to dominate the 2nd quarter until the Crimson Tide was able to move into FG range and converted on a 37 yd FG with 28 seconds left in the half. The defenses continued to dominate the game in the 3rd quarter but the Crimson Tide was able to reclaim the lead at 17-14 when HB Dee Hart scored from 6 yards out with 12 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter. But the lead did not last long as the Seminoles scored on the last play of the 3rd quarter when HB Freeman torched the Crimson Tide defense again this time from 80 yards away. As the 4th quarter wore on the Crimson Tide made one final push for the when after Florida State missed on a long FG attempt. The Crimson Tide drove down and faced a 3rd and goal from the Seminole 2 yard line with 15 second remaining. As the two teams traded timeouts as the each coaching staff looked to out maneuver the other the Crimson Tide got the game winning points on a 2 yard run by Hart with 12 seconds left. After a couple of batted down deep passes from Florida State the Crimson Tide was able to hang on a get the hard fought 24-21 win over the Seminoles.

Great game by Tiger171 and his Florida State team. The were well prepared and the team speed that the Seminoles possess is amazing. Good Luck the rest of the season Tiger and I think this is a team the league better get ready for because they are young but talented and FAST!!!!!!!!
