-Outlook- The Vols come into the 2014 season with high hopes after a disapointed end to last year. Senior AA RB Marlin Lane will be the key play maker on the offensive side of the ball as (RS) Senior QB Nash Nance will get his first start as won the starting job in the spring over talented TRU Soph Brad Thibodeaux who got solid playing time last year. The defense will be anchored by the OLBs, Curt Maggit and AJ Johnson, both have started all 4 years at the OLB spot. Look for Brian Randolph and Matt Dykes to make their names known in the secondary as the Vols will use heavy DB packages all year long. The special teams will be led by 5th year senior Matt Darr, who is a converted punter, who will take over the place kicking duties this year. Devrin Young has made his name by being a return specialist and this year looks to be his break out year. -Key Players-
-Notable Games- Week 3- vs. MichiganWeek 4- @ FloridaWeek 8- @ IowaWeek 9- vs. AlabamaWeek 10- @ South Carolina
Alabama Crimson Tide
The Crimson Tide look to rebound from last years disappointing 10-3 record. The Crimson Tide will be lead by Senior QB Phillip Simms who is looking to take advantage of his opportunity to lead the Tide. Supporting Simms on the offense will be Pre-Season All-American and ALL-SEC HB Dee Hart. Hart has rushed for 2148 yards in his career and scored 35 TDs. When Simms looks to throw Senior Deandrew White wil be one of his main targets. White has 1468 yards receiving and 10 TDs. On the defensive side the Crimson Tide will be lead by MLB Justin Colbert who has recorded 71 tackles and Safety Clinton Dix who has recorded 103 tackles..
2014 Schedule THIS IS ALABAMA FOOTBALL
Iowa Hawkeyes 2014-2015 Season Outlook2013-2014 Record - 12-22013-2014 B1G Champions With QB Ashton Glaser graduated, it looks as though Coach E has given the nod to Sophomore speedster Jeremy Gardner out of Macomb, Illinois. Gardner has the speed, but will need to be an accurate thrower should the Hawkeyes hope to replicate their success of last season. The Hawkeyes also return their leading rusher and receiver and have four halfbacks who will all likely see touches at some point during the season. The offense is balanced and has numerous weapons which will look to lead Iowa to its second straight B1G Championship. On the defensive side of the ball, things are a bit different. With all three starting linebackers graduated, and half of their defensive line also gone, the Iowa Hawkeyes have five true Freshman who will all see the field at one point or another during the season. The youth of the defense could lead to some struggles, but the group is nonetheless very talented. Key Games:Week 3 vs. AlabamaWeek 7 at WisconsinWeek 8 vs. TennesseeWeek 13 at Notre DameWeek 14 vs. Penn State
Coming off a one loss season and another BCS win the fighting Irish look to pick up where things left off. We are very young especially in the defensive backfield and at receiver but that's not gonna stop gunslinger sophomore QB David Wesley. This young guy who was handpicked coach capp is looking to put up one of the best seasons in the schools history coming off a 33 touchdown freshman season. The strength of the team is the defensive line because we have three all Americans back from last year who want to take this defense to another level. It will be a rough road this year but the Irish are ready to roll.

Welcome to the 2014 Arkansas Razorback Season Outlook
The Razorbacks enter the 2014 season on a high note after defeating Michigan State in the Gator Bowl. This years Hog team will be younger than the previous years and will be considered a rebuilding squad. Although there are many who predict the Hogs will be at the bottom of the SEC West the coaching staff believes differently.
On offense the Hogs will continue with their mulitple base. Last year the passing game picked up some and this year the staff believes that there will be even more of a balanced threat. Although the starting quarterback has not been revealed the starting half back has .....Sophmore Trent Guidry will be leading the ground attack for the Hogs.
On the defensive side of the ball the staff believes that there will be even more improvement from last year. The defensive coordinators have really been working with their guys and beleive this years team could have one of the best defenses in the nation. The defense will again bring a muli faced look to the opposing offenses.
FLORIDA GATORS 2014 SEASON OUTLOOK The Florida Gators lose Heisman trophy winner Mack Brown to the NFL. Rimmington Award Winner Jonotthan Harrison graduated along with several key players on the offensive line. Depth will be a key issue with Florida this year. Hopes are that the Gators can build on their 9-4 season from last year but with 19 seniors leaving this will prove to be a difficult task. Mack Brown will be replaced with Brett Mosley at RB with both backups being true Freshmen Glen Allen and Dave Butler. Florida still has their leading receiver Quinton Dunbar and starting QB Jacoby Brissett returning. On defense SS Josua Shaw returns after considering leaving early. Although the starters are considered as talented as anyone in the SEC the depth isn't there yet for Florida.
THIS IS MICHIGAN
Some Key Players are RS SR QB Devin Gardner. He makes out offense go. He's got great speed, AGI, ACC and can throw the ball a mile. We also have a homerun threat RB in Micheal Schneider. Anytime he touches the ball it could go for 6. Our WR core is very deep, very fast, and tall. 6'5" DaRick Richard can stretch any defense, Jon Chambers 6'2" in the slot, and TR FR Dorsey 6'7" is on the outside rivaling Richard. Who do you key on? On defense, we have several players lead by RS SR MLB Jake Ryan who is exactly what you want your MLB to be. He's fast, and can lay a beat down on anyone crossing the middle. He sheds blocks well and he gets after the quarterback a lot in my version of the 4-2-5/3-3-5. Keeping the edge and really causing havoc are our two SS's, "Starvin" Marvin Robinson and "Too Tall" 6'5" Matt Roland (97 SPD). These two keep the pesky speed backs trying to get the corner, contained. Our Dline has GREAT Speed and our middle fielder is TR JR Bobby Lumpkin. He's great at keeping everything in front of him, jumping routes, and laying a big hit to dislodge the ball carrier from the ball. He reminds me a lot of Earl Thomas, who i coached in TF back in '09 in the 4-2-5 i ran back then. Big Games are: @ LSU, @ Tenn, iowa and little brother... Auburn(Home)Missing game is: ND, do to an oversight by the B1G commissioner, ND is off the schedule this season.
Joe, you and Fred make Alabama and Auburn look tame in the trash talk area .
It's all in good fun. I do worry about the lil guy though after i crush him again this year. He may just retire and just want to keep winning in his JV league where he can be the smartest one on the short bus.
UCLA SEASON PREVIEW 2014
Offensive Outlook (7 Returners)
Quarterback :RS- JR. Brett Hundley will lead the offense after efficient Sophmore campaign, Coach Maij has stated that Hundley will look to become a complete player. Areas of improvement continue to be turnovers and accuracy.
Running Backs: The Bruins return a stable of running backs with Seniors Malcolm Jones and Jordan James returning, with highly recruited Soph. Adam Scott waiting in the wings.
Wide Receivers: Biggest question this year will be at wideout, Bruins lost big time play-makers in Randall Carroll and Shaq Evans, Bruins do return Devin Lucien, but all other pass catchers will be seeing significant playing for the first time in their career, this units transition will determine the success of the Bruin offensive attack.
O-Line: This unit should be an improvement over last year, with the whole line getting experience last year due to injury, all starters have played seen the speed and should gel quite well.
Defensive Outlook (7 Returners)
Secondary: UCLA lost a lot in the secondary with the departure of SS Dietrich Riley and CB Brandon Sermons, 2014 will bring a lot of questions. All-American FS Tevin Mcdonald looks to close out his career on a high note as he bids for a thorpe award, while Bruins #1 recruit from last year Brad Sanders looks to take over as a Frosh at SS.
LineBackers: The Bruin front seven last year was average at best, many times teams would just load up and run down the middle, a scheme tweak this spring hopes to help this fall. Jordan Zumwalt and Aramide Olaniyan will be the primary backers with Sr. Eric Kendricks coming in when the Bruins go heavy upfront.
D-Line: Bruins return 3 of 4 starters with DT Cassuis Marsh early departure forthe NFL, RS-Frosh Jamil Carter looks to replace Marsh and fortify the interior.
Key GamesAll games are important, Bruins were caught overlooking opponents at the end of last season and it cost them a Pac-12 title.
