    Recruiting Restrictions
For NCAA 12, we are instituting a new system for restricting user recruiting classes. Five-star recruits will be capped based on current team prestige. Six-star programs may sign only four five-star recruits, five-star programs may sign only five five-star recruits, four-star programs may sign only six five-star recruits, and so forth. Furthermore, the sum of four-star and five-star recruits may never exceed twelve.

For example, if you are a six-star program, you may sign up to four five-star players. If you sign the maximum of four, your four-star recruits are capped at eight. However, if you sign zero five-star recruits, you may sign up to twelve four-star players.

Three-star recruits and lower are not capped, as long as you stay within your scholarship allotment. As a reminder, one-star recruits do not count towards scholarship limits.

    Penalties:

    • First Offense: All players causing the user to go over the violated restriction must be cut. Each player cut will result in the loss of two scholarships for the following season.
    • Second Offense: In addition to the penalties outlined for first-time offenders, the user will also lose access to all players in the SPARQ 100 for the following season.
    • Third Offense: In addition to the aforementioned penalties, the user will face a serious discussion with the commissioner and the board about your inability to abide by rules in order to come up with a solution to the problem.

Note: Current program prestige levels must be reported by each user at the start of every season.

we've brought a lot of TE's between the last few classes. Tall, decent speed, good hands. Decent blocker, good all around player.

Ryan Allen is a pretty solid depth signing at wide receiver. He has great speed to go with average acceleration, but he's a big body who runs very good routes and doesn't put the ball on the turf. Robinson is going to end up as a weak side outside linebacker and special teams player, assuming he gets past player cuts.

Florida Lands Two Big Time Recruits Early
4 star recruits Fred Pearson DE and Kareem Hardy CB signed with Florida yesterday. Hardy is expected to start immediately. Hardy is from Greater Northdale, FL. He has excellent speed and has very good coverage skills. Pearson is a strong DE that is good at shedding Blocks and getting into the backfield to disrupt plays. Pearson is from Warwick, RI.

Bruins season is currently going nowhere but recruiting is a bright spot so far, Coach Maij is looking to add some good pieces on both sides of ball, Week 4 saw the signing of the #2 player in all the land as HB Geoff Jones commited to be a Bruin. Jones is the real deal having superb speed and agility for his size at 6'3 218, Jones will be in the mix as the feature back next fall, as the Bruins transition from the Pistol to a more Pro-style offense. Another surprise early commit was CB Andy Miles, the #12 cover man in nation, Miles looks to add size to a Bruin secondary at 6'1 190.

Well, Dion Robinson has vanished from my recruiting board despite committing during week one. Will be interesting to see what happens there...

Wesley Jones is a big kid who could develop into a nice weapon in the short passing game. He has good hands and good speed to go with a big frame. Jones needs time to develop blocking skills in the run game and will likely see time as a third tight end as a true freshman while he continues to progress as a player.

Even though Edmonds is a little bit on the small side of things his future looks great in a gold helmet because of his game breaking speed. More than likely he will redshirt next year but he will see the field plenty after that.

Davis adds depth to the tackle position for the future and with his size looks to be a nice prospect.

Bruins working hard on the recruiting trail, Coach Maij added to depth signings during the bye week. G Eric Witherspoon and FS Zach Walker will redshirt next year and look to break the lineup in two or three seasons.

    Florida Lands Two Recruits
Boynton Beach, FL QB Travis Reid has committed to play for the Florida Gators. Reid is listed as 6'1", 195 lbs. His throwing power is his strength and is the type QB the Gators look for to manage their offense.
Also Atmore, AL TE Adam Britt has committed to the Gators. Adam is 6'5", 227 lbs and is considered a versatile TE in that he is a good blocker and also is a big target down field and has good hands.

Jason is a solid player. He has good speed, good strength and can pass block well. He'll likely replace a lineman that isn't progressing like we'd like. We have a lot of depth at the OL position and are very young, therefore, Jason probably won't play for another two, maybe three years. We're considering moving jason to center due to his mobility. At 320, he'd be a LARGE center, but, with that kind of movement and awareness he'd fit well. We also pull our guards a lot, so maybe we'll leave him. Either way, jason is welcomed to be a wolverine. He didn't consider anyone else. We probably only spent a little of an hour recruiting him all season. Good luxury addition in a class with low overall numbers.

Parks is a solid player. His lack of AGI worries me. Good straight line player. Won't get much time till he's a RS JR / SR so hopefully he'll make up his lack of AGI with AWR when he finally sees the field.
Good Height, Good Jumping, Good balls skills. Will play ST till he starts @ CB.
