    Irish Defense Stiffens
    [IMG]
The fighting Irish were able to force 5 1st half turnovers. Even though the defense was playing lights out the offense was struggling to convert the turnovers into points and only lead by 14 at the half. Second half the defense stayed aggressive and kept their foot on gas and had a goal line stand to keep the Hawkeyes scoreless. Now that we have guareenteed a BCS game we now have to propare for the number one team in country to see whose gets a BCS title birth.

Crimson Tide Hangs On, Defeats Texas A&M in Wild Offensive Shot-Out
The Crimson Tide fans, players and coaches continued to wild emotional roller coaster rider this week as Alabama traveled to College Station. After shutting out Miss State last week, this week the Crimson Tide needed every bit of the 600 yards of offense and 42 points. A&M HB Jones rushed for over 140 yards and the Aggie defense scored forced 4 Alabama turnovers. After falling behind 14-0 early in the 1st Qtr the Crimson Tide fought their way back into the game and took the lead in the 2nd Qtr only to see A&M tie the game on the ensuing kick off with a 100 yard kick return for a TD. The Aggies go into the Half with a 28-21 lead after return an interception 64 yards for TD. In the 2nd half A&M stretched their lead to 10 before the Crimson Tide scored 2 more TDs to reclaim the lead early in the 4th Qtr. But A&M responded with a Jones 71 yard TD run and with 4:33 remaining A&M lead once again 38-35. The Crimson Tide proceeded to grind it out a 4 minute and 14 second drive scored the winning points with 19 seconds left when Otis Doyle scored from 2 yards out. For Alabama Phillip Sims was 24-36 for 436 yards and 2 TD but did throw 3 ints. On the ground Dee Hart lead the Tide with 173 yard on 22 carries and 2 TDs. Next up for the Crimson Tide is a trip to Jordan Hare to face the #2 BCS ranked Auburn Tigers.

Buckeyes Come Out Ice Cold, Heat Up In The 2nd Half
    [IMG]

After Ohio State's loss at Iowa, the Buckeyes were looking to get back on the winning track against Illinois. It didn't look good early though. The Buckeyes had their opportunities but just couldn't come away with points. A key example was QB Braxton Miller fumbling the ball away on Illinois' 2 yard line. Illinois' offense wasn't on fire but they were able to get a TD behind a huge run by the RB who broke about 3 tackles and went roughly 70-80 yards.

The Buckeyes got the big play working for them in the 2nd half though. Miller connected on 3 deep passes for TDs and Ohio State also intercepted Illinois' QB and took it to the house. The Buckeyes were up 21-20 when the Illini scored a TD and got a 2 point conversion to take a 28-21 lead in the 4th quarter. Shortly after that is when Miller connected on his 3rd deep TD pass. Illinois then got the ball back with about 2 minutes remaining. However, they ended up fumbling the ball on roughly their 45 yard line and it was recovered by Ohio State with about 1:30 left in the game. Ohio State moved down the field eating up the rest of the clock and positioning themselves for a FG. And with no time remaining, the Buckeyes barely made a FG to win the game 31-28.

Upcoming: Ohio State hosts Michigan. Nothing else needs to be said about this one.

Beat up on Colorado 35-10, will need to beat U$C to win the South, get a bowl, and have a shot at the PAC-12 Championship.

Gators Offense Wakes Up While the Defense Naps
    Missouri 38 Florida 34
If you like offense you would love this game. Between the two teams there was almost 1200 yards of offense and plenty of big plays. Florida QB Jacoby Brissett was 19-48 for 251 yards and 3TD passes. RB Brett Mosley had 108 yards on 5 rushes with the big play being an 80 yard TD run in the first quarter. CB Louchez Purifoy was coming on a corner blitz on an option play and the QB option right to Purifoy for a 66 yard TD in the second quarter. WR Quinton Dunbar finished his career at Florida with 12 catches for 145 yards and 3 TD catches. The last catch was a diving catch that put Florida up for what seemed to be the game winning TD catch. Just when Florida's defense seemed to have Missouri right where they wanted them Missouri struck for the final big play of the game on a 41 yard pass play from Corbin Berkstresser to Jimmie Hunt. Florida's free safety was coming on a blitz which left Hunt wide open. For Missouri HB Marcus Murphy had a 80 yard TD in the 3rd quarter and Jimmy Hunt had a 102 yard kickoff return for a TD. After going to a bowl game last year Florida will be sitting at home this year to ponder what could have been.

Vols put up 20 points in under 3minutes; blow out Vandy early
Marlin Lane score at the 6:34 mark on a 26 yard rush, AJ Johnson scored at the 4:36 mark on a 57 yard fumble return and then Justin Coleman would return a interception 30 yards for a TD... (add a missed PAT) 20-0 Vols with 4:25 left in the 1st quarter. We would add 3 more scores in the 2nd quarter and the 2nd/3rd stringers would play from the 3rd quarter on.

Guess i didn't post this week.

NW sucks. I basically fell asleep playing the game. We sacked their qb over and over. It was a beat down. I played with almost all back up at the skill positions giving my guys a chance to develop some depth. 52-7 Good guys!
