North Carolina traveled to Jonesboro to face Arkansas State and welcome their new head coach Papa Perry to Z2H. The Tar Heels took control of the game early on scoring 21 points in the first Qtr before settling into defensive struggle for the remaining 3 Qtrs. Arkansas State recorded 2 safeties after the pinned the Tar Heels deep inside their 3 yard line in the 2nd and 4th Qtrs. North Carolina used a balance attack as they rushed for 145 yards while passing for 197 yards. Arkansas State was unfortunately bitten by a case of the drops by their WR's throughout the game. There were several instances where Arkansas State had open receivers that would have kept drives alive only to see the WR drop the pass.
    Good Game Papa Perry

    #25 Florida State 24, Western Kentucky 21

The game was back and forth with Western Kentucky leading 21-14 at half. The teams stepped up on defense in the third and no points were scored, but Florida State added 10 in the 4th and intercepted a pass in the endzone to finish the game. Mario Pender led the Seminoles with 16 carries for 142 yards and 1 TD. Great game capp34
