Junior star slot receiver and return man Damiere Byrd will miss four weeks, including games against uagrad90 and fordtuff504, with an injury after dominating Georgia for three quarters.

Michigans suffocating D gets two interceptions and that was the difference in the game. We also were able to hold him to FG's twice instead of TDs. His touchdown came after a fantastic play call of a reverse triple option after he saw me overplaying the option the previous few times. It was a back and forth game until i got an INT deep into his territory and I believe convert a touchdown. From there, he had to open up and pass more and we were on him with tight coverage. We bent a lot, but we didn't break, and thats what made the difference.
The key to the game was running away from Tenn's impact LB. After we made that adjustment, we were able to break off runs for big yardage.

Hawkeyes Prevail Over Bama in Overtime
Wanna give a shoutout to uagrad90 for a great game, it was a lot of fun. I definitely had a few things go my way which turned the tide in my direction, including a fumble recovery and holding call which eventually lead to the victory for me. We were able to keep the Bama offense off the field with a few long drives which turned out to be key as the game went on. Guy had a good drive to end the game and tied it up with :15 left on the clock. Iowa scored to open OT on a play action pass to TE Ray Hamilton. Alabama then had a solid drive of their own, punching it in with a QB run. Bama lined up for the two point conversion in a make it or break it situation. This was the only play Bama ran out of that formation the entire game and the Hawkeyes were able to make a big stop to seal the game. Great game again Guy.

    Bama Falls in Iowa
Great game by OnIowa. That was alot of fun and I really enjoyed it even in a losing effort. I think you have some SEC in your blood, that was a good ole fashion grind out out SEC win for Iowa. I will get some video up later with the failed 2 point play.

Joe got me pretty good in this one. His defense was real fast and quick to the ball... it took me pretty much the whole game to figure out how to attack it. We did a pretty good job of keeping his offense under wraps for the most part. He called some great plays/audibles that just flat out beat the defense I was in.. I didnt give my players much of a chance in most of the TD plays. We look forward to the game next year in Knoxville and hopefully evening the score.

The fighting Irish were able to coast to victory following and impressive first half showing on both sides of the ball. The offense kicked off things with touchdowns on their first two drives while the defense forced turnovers with interceptions. This was a total team victory so there were no amazing stat lines by anyone. gg@maij17

Arkansas took a beating week 3 at the hands of Oklahoma 51-17. While the fans are disappointed at how this season has started they understand that this is for sure shaping up to be a rebuilding season.
