not going to spill the beans on who, but the Cavaliers picked up two 4* recruits in the first week of the season!
Guess I have to go look myself
MSU get their first commits of the season--
Kendal Hobbs// 6'1" 196lbs // CB (#10) // 4* // Balanced
Bobby Dahl// 6'6" 276;bs // T (#41) // 3* // Pass Block
Its a coaches dream for the new man in at MSU, because thier only needs this year are at the FB and QB position
Coach Maij signed his first recruit of the year with HB CJ Russell. Russell looks to add depth to the stable of running backs on the Gopher roster, will more than likey redshirt to build up some strength for Big Ten football
Texas Tech is still in the 0 recruit signed zone
Hopefully things pick up soon
Two more commits for the cavaliers, the #14 G and #30 MLB. 7 schholarships remain and we are in the hunt for some big guys
Damn the Cavs are having a great recruiting year. Im hoping to start getting commits soon.
I'm just hoping to get commits at some point this year...
he could be a threat for you jv if he improves his cover skills, good tackling and speed
Gotta love online recruiting...I choose to spend an hour on my #1 guy, start the call, choose a pitch, and there's a miscommunication with the online server. Lost call.
Coach GURU signed his Scrambling 4* QB the first day on the job, landing Danny Royal. Royal was not a ESPNU 150 rank, but Coach GURU feels he will do quite well in the future.
QB - Danny Royal
6'5" 206 Scrambler
SPD - C+
ACC - B-
AGI - C+
THP - C
THA - C
BTK - C+
ELU - C+
STA - B-
INJ - B
Coach GURU has the rest of the long season ahead to analyze the play of his underclassmen QB's and determine if Danny will be a contributor, or a learner his first year on campus. For the first day on the job, and if these are sign of things to come, Notre Dame may be on their way to being heroes just yet.
Thats a good start on recruiting.
Still no commits fot Tech but im close lol
Nice pick up jv
Ryan Stanley commited to the Gophers shortly after the Baylor game, Ryan is a serviceable QB that Coach Maij will redshirt. Ryan would have a plenty of time to work with Minnesota QB coach Drew Olsen on his awareness in the pocket and his accuracy.
Committing to the Cowboys just prior to their showdown with Tennessee is MLB Matt Langford. Langford fills an immediate need for OK State and could find his way onto the field as a true freshman based on raw talent alone.
Prior to Miami's victory over Nebraska, the Hurricanes also received some good news as the Nations #1 RB committed:
congrats csboiler! looks like arkansas was in the race for this kid as well...sucks for whoever has that team!
The Cavaliers were also able to sign a 3* TE this week in Mike Smith. Smith could fill the void space after Jack Swanson graduates this season
Texas Tech signs ESPN TOP 150 QB
Oklahoma State has added another three star player to the fold, signing Texas native Paul Romero. Romero will look to help fill the void at running back for the Cowboys, who will lose their two star backs to graduation.
The Gophers signed 4* WR John Love, the 6'6'' wideout should see situational time next year in the redzone, where his height will be a huge advantage.
I can't believe we have a coach signing 5* recruits in his first year at a school. Lucky guy getting Miami like that.
