Bearcats Give It Their Best Shot But Can't Overcome Ohio State

Ohio State was not prepared for the fight that they got from Cincinnati. The Bearcats showed on their 1st possession just how seriously they were taking the Buckeyes when they ran a fake punt and P Kellen Phillips connected on a pass giving them a 1st down. They would go on to take the lead a few plays later. And that was a trend the whole game as Cincinnati would attempt 4th down plays 6 times throughout the game and converting on their 1st three attempts. Ohio State's offense proved to be too much for them though as the Buckeyes were able to always respond and eventually take the lead and go on to win.
Player of the Game: WR Craig Bryant - He was McCullough's security blanket in this game and also had a few big plays.
Upcoming: The #6 Buckeyes travel to Knoxville to take on the #8 Tennessee Volunteers. Tennessee is looking to rebound after losing to Michigan but Ohio State is hoping just to keep winning and moving up the polls. It doesn't have to be pretty but it does have to be a W.

    Michigan Beats Tenn 45-14

In a weird turn of events, both coaches lost their play books before the game and had to just pull things out of their hat. UT started the game out with a big run from his spectacular TR FR RB H. Davis. He showed the michigan coaches exactly why they recruited him so hard. He was spectacular. Once we knocked him out of the game for a bit is when we were able to get some momentum going and put the vols away. We didn't need to pass much, but when we did, we went deep and made him pay for going one on one with our fast and dangerous WRs. Schneider had another incredible game, almost 200 yards on 15 carries, he returned a missed FG for 109 yards, he was a threat to return kicks on every touch. QB Thibodeaux caused us some problems, but when he got loose we had enough team speed to catch him from behind and force UT to try and break another big play in order to score.
After the game, per the prodding of other coaches, i uploaded 5 highlights of the game. I had a TF initially but was able to retry and it worked. Too scary. Didn't like that at all.

    Bama Falls to Hawkeyes 31-28
It was a great two game last night with OnIowa. The first disconnected in triple OT tied at 23-23 and the second Iowa put together the game winning drive with about 1:30 seconds left. The Crimson Tide pulled ahead on a pick six late and looked to have finally broken through but would be denied by a great Iowa drive.

    Florida Gets Revenge
    Beats Rival Miami 41-38
This game took a strange turn late in the 2nd quarter. Miami jumped out to a 24-0 lead before Florida could score. After Florida cut the lead to 24-7 with 1:42 left till halftime Miami took the ball and drove downfield and appeared to score to make it 31-7 with 48 seconds left in the half. The officials took a review and overturned the call on the field which took away the score and made it 4th and inches. Florida's defense held at the goalline. Florida appeared intent on just running out the clock with the ball on the 1 yard line. Florida was in the I and ran an ISO play up the middle with Sophomore RB Dave Butler and 99 yards later Florida had cut the lead to 24-14 going into the half with momentum on their side. Florida tacked on another three TD's to make the score 34 -24 with 5:19 left in the game. Miami then showcased their strike quick ability and on the next play from scrimmage hit an 80 yard TD to WR Patrick Hill who just went up and took the ball away from the defender that appeared to be playing the ball perfectly. This made it 34-31 with 5:07 left. Miami wasn't done though. They held Florida got the ball back and drove downfield and scored on a 16 yard pass to George Powers with 3:35 left in the game to make it 38-34 Miami. Loucheiz Purifoy took the kickoff and ran it back 91 yards for the final score of the game with 3:24 left and Florida held to win 41-38.
    Jacoby Brissett 11-23 184 yards 1 TD 2 Int
    Dave Butler 19 Attempts 198 yards Rushing 2 TD's
    Justin Harvey 9 Attempts 45 yards Rushing 2 TD's
Ja Juan Story 6 Receptions 87 yards 1 TD

Another rough one for the Vols. Michigan seems to have Tennessee's number as they are now on a 2 game winning streak. The Vols couldnt stop the Michigan run game and it really took them out of their gameplan. On offense we got a little to impatient and got away from our game plan. GG again Joe_THEDREAM , I definitely need to draw up a better game plan for you, it hasnt even been close these last 2 times.
