    We smashed Miss St
    ....I never liked them anyway....
The 2 turnovers they had both went for 6. The 1st was a option pitch that went no where near the RB, my LB scoopd and took it to the house the other was a pick six by Jenkins the all everything CB.
It says Dodd returned a fumble 103 but it was a missed FG and he housed a punt later on. #1 CB already making a splash in the NCAA

Buckeyes Get Lucky And Find Victory In Knoxville
The #8 Tennessee Volunteers played host to the #6 Ohio State Buckeyes in a game that was a great and tight battle. Both teams were able to get field goals on their first possession but the 1st half mostly the teams just feeling each other out. No real offense explosions but just clean football with solid defense. However, with 2 seconds left in the 1st half, Ohio State QB Andy McCullough threw up a hail mary to Craig Bryant who managed to catch it and drag his foot in bounds giving the Buckeyes a 10-3 lead at the half.
The Vols got the ball to start the 2nd half and were looking to close it back up. That wouldn't happen though as Tennessee would become a bit turnover prone. One their 1st possession of the 2nd half, a poor pitch on an option play would be recovered by SS Ronald Hudson and returned for a TD pushing Ohio State's lead to 17-3. The Vols answered back quickly though behind a long run from FB Andy Arnold and a TD option run from Wallace Farris making it 17-10. The Buckeyes struggled on offense for most of the 2nd half thanks to a suffocating Tennessee run defense but the Vols also struggled behind some untimely interceptions thrown by Brad Thibodeaux.
Player of the Game: Craig Bryant - He was there pretty whenever the Buckeyes needed him and his great reception at the end of the 1st half changed the entire game.
Upcoming: Ohio State has a bye week next week but then they stay on the road and start their Big 10 schedule at Iowa. The Hawkeyes won by a narrow margin last season and are currently undefeated and ranked #16. This will be the Buckeyes 3rd Top 25 opponent of the season.

    Florida Celebrates Too Early
Texas A & M Rallies to Win 31-28 in OT
Florida appeared to have the game under control going into the 4th quarter leading 28-17. Florida took out their starters and ended up sending them back in late in the 4th quarter. Texas A & M scored and went for two and got it to make the score 28-25. The starter reentered for Florida and was moving the ball and appeared to be running down the clock but a hit on the RB created a fumble that the Aggies recovered near midfield. Florida was able to hold them to a fieldgoal which sent the game into overtime. In overtime Florida went for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking a FG and A & M held. A & M then got into FG range and ended the game with a FG.
After the game Coach Crow took the blame and stated " I should have done a better job of coaching in this game. I am the head guy and I take full responsibility for this loss. The buck stops here."

The Vols didnt make many mistakes in the game but when they did they were extremely costly. Take away 2 HUGE plays and it was a 14-3 Vol victory, but football isnt about what-ifs, its about showing up on a given day and being the better team. This week Ohio State was the better team. We look forward to a chance to play your squad again, gg HAL9100
