Entering his first full season at the helm of the Oklahoma State program, Coach ChildPlease9 is making major changes. The Cowboys will look completely different on the offensive side of the ball. Only TE Mark Bailey, C Kenny Turner, and RT Jermaine Weiss return to the starting lineup. Junior QB Travis Brown has beat out incumbent QB Rory Wheatley in a tight offseason battle. Personnel won't be the only change, however, as the Cowboys look to return to what once had them on top of the college football world with the hiring of Hall of Famer Barry Sanders as Offensive Coordinator. Sanders will employ a balanced offensive attack similar to that of Stanford's current-day arsenal. Defensively, the Cowboys should be improved in their base 4-3 scheme. Returning stars Gary McLaurin and Cedric Weeks should anchor the defensive line as a preseason All-American DT tandem, among the best in the nation. Star OLB B.J. Lumpkin also returns to a very strong front seven. The defensive backfield lacks depth and talent, but the front seven should bolster the defense and make the backs' jobs easy.

On the recruiting front, the Cowboys are starting to see the fruits of last season's success as well as the depths of a very talented recruiting pool. Coach ChildPlease9 looks to hit the recruiting trail hard, commonly quoted as saying he's "all-in" this year; the majority of targeted recruits have been promised early playing time, if not a starting job, already this season, as the coaching staff looks to revamp the talent pool in the Cowboy locker room.

Oklahoma State knocked off Connecticut to open the 2015 season in style. The Cowboys jumped ahead early and finished the game strong with a 38-10 victory. Leading the charge for the Cowboys was running back Dane Palmer, rushing for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns on just fourteen carries.

The Cowboys continued their winning ways, knocking off NC State 35-14 in Stillwater on National Television. Oklahoma State pulled away late with strong performances by Dane Palmer and Cliff Hill on the ground. The defense sealed the deal, forcing four turnovers and holding the Wolfpack to under 300 yards of offense.

In recruiting news, two OK State targets announced their decisions. The Cowboys finished second for both Texas prospects, each preferring Texas A&M.

Oklahoma State hosts Coach jv9179razorback's Arkansas Razorbacks next week.

Following a heartbreaking loss to Arkansas on their home turf, the Oklahoma State cowboys have announced two signings. Both guys should provide solid depth to a weak defense.

After a 38-0 victory over defending national champion Texas Tech, the Cowboys have stolen a once-lost prospect in FS Ricky Fagan.

The Cowboys have added yet another three star player in cornerback Marcus Herron of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Herron will have a chance at immediate playing time with a shallow defensive back field next season due to graduation.

The #6 team in the land has to have some depth signings to sustain this.
