    Recruiting Restrictions
For NCAA 12, we are instituting a new system for restricting user recruiting classes. Five-star recruits will be capped based on current team prestige. Six-star programs may sign only four five-star recruits, five-star programs may sign only five five-star recruits, four-star programs may sign only six five-star recruits, and so forth. Furthermore, the sum of four-star and five-star recruits may never exceed twelve.

For example, if you are a six-star program, you may sign up to four five-star players. If you sign the maximum of four, your four-star recruits are capped at eight. However, if you sign zero five-star recruits, you may sign up to twelve four-star players.

Three-star recruits and lower are not capped, as long as you stay within your scholarship allotment. As a reminder, one-star recruits do not count towards scholarship limits.

    Penalties:

    • First Offense: All players causing the user to go over the violated restriction must be cut. Each player cut will result in the loss of two scholarships for the following season.
    • Second Offense: In addition to the penalties outlined for first-time offenders, the user will also lose access to all players in the SPARQ 100 for the following season.
    • Third Offense: In addition to the aforementioned penalties, the user will face a serious discussion with the commissioner and the board about your inability to abide by rules in order to come up with a solution to the problem.

Note: Current program prestige levels must be reported by each user at the start of every season.

Miami Inks Two In Week 1 Recruiting

Both Gary Trent and Alex Turner are ESPN Top 150 Recruits and will both have the opportunity to contribute early in their Hurricane careers. Both are ranked 4th at their respective positions and are the first two signing for Coach E has head coach in Miami.

The first signing of the CP9 era at Florida State is an unspectacular one. Jones has good size but is average in every facet of the game. Purely a depth signing, Jones will move to RT.

Mitchell is an ESPN top 150 player and #3 overall OLB on the board. He's a good solid player that will be moved to MLB and will RS and look to start in his RS JR Season potentially.

    • Jason, was a instant commit and will be adding depth to the SS position for the Bruins.

At 6'7" he's a miss match. He sucks at blocking. He'll most likely RS and get PT RS FR Season in 2 TE sets.

I was hoping the same thing, but with all the user on the list it looks like no one overlooked him. Definitely one of the best 3* Ive seen and the 4.26 forty isnt to shabby

Perfect Fit for my 4-2-5 defense. He has world class speed, and can knock you out when he gets there. Will be a RS and maybe sit an additional year. I'd like him to see the field asap but we have some outstanding talent ahead of him. While he's sitting hopefully his Pursuit and coverage skills increase a bit, along with his hops.

Our pass game has changed to guys who run good routes with solid speed and can pick up first downs. Cross was low hanging fruit and fit that bill. won't play till late in his career.

A couple of SOLID signings for the Hurricanes this week. All will have huge impacts in years to come. Lyles is the real deal, and we have our QB of the future, even if its only for 2 years.

I can't seem to recruit offense, especially RB, but it looks like our D is going to be very solid for years to come. Davis is just a good solid player. We'll probably move him to MLB. He won't start till his RS JR year at the earliest. I've been missing on positions of need but whatever, it is what it is.

All these players are very, very good. I just wish they were in more of a position of need. We're not in the business of turning studs away from playing with the winged helmet. Need a QB, any type of OL and we're in on a big time DT. From there, just more BPA.

Big signing. He's what you want in a DT. He's strong, can hit and tackle, and can get off blocks. He'll get some time as a RS FR.

The Buckeyes have been horrible in the trenches so that's been a big priority thus far. So it's great that the first 3 players to sign with Ohio State will all help improve that.

Another beast on D. No problems recruiting defense to the big house. Won't play for a while and by the time he sees the field, he should be very solid.

Ohio State has gotten commitments from numerous players and only have 4 scholarships remaining.
