We beat up Wisconsin. Their QB dodged 3 sacks to end up picking up first downs, that was annoying.

This year we have had a different approach to the season. We have been leaning to a pass 1st team and tried to expand our game to more of a passing attack simply in a effort to get better, we know we can run the ball. So again this game we passed a lot and the D played very well. We are very proud of our progress developing a consistent passing game. We still struggle running the screen pass and quick outs to the TE that others run so well against us but we are going to figure that out to. We are also looking into Joes read option crap and gonna get that rolling here.

If i was John Crow , i'd blame the outgoing coach for "Leaving the cupboard bare". Your first season is never your fault. I heard Jerry small is leading the revolt!!

Miami ousted Florida State 24-10 in a rivalry match up between the two ACC schools. We got lucky and had 4 interceptions in the first quarter after our secondary couldn't seem to make an interception in the first six games of the season. The biggest interception was a 20 yard TD return by CB Jahmal Lee. HB Brian Hoffman added a 75 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter making it 24-3 Canes at halftime. Miami would concede another touchdown in the third quarter, but the D would hold and not allow anymore scores by the Seminole offense.

    great game ChildPlease9

Vols blow out Georgia in wild one

Vols win 49-7 in a game that was as extremely crucial for recruiting purposes. This one had some pretty crazy plays in it (wish the highlights would have saved). Early in the 2nd quarter my QB kept it on the option and right before I was caught from behind I went to pitch it to my HB but some how my WR stepped in and took it 94 yds for a score. The 2nd stringer were able to get some solid playing time in the 2nd half and late in the 4th I was able to get their QB to fumbling in their endzone and my DE picked it up and the whistle didnt blow till he was tackled.... bizarre to say the least. The only TD I gave up was right after the fumble recovery for a TD where I shanked the KO and their guy hurdled a defender and took it to the house. A handful of recruits who are down to their final 3 choices visited this week and the Vols hope it will be a big recruiting weekend for them

Trojans Cruise Past Colorado for a 48-14 Win
After last week's 200 yard rushing performance by HB Will Luke the Colorado Buffalo's decided that if the Trojans were going to win it would have to be through the air. QB Blake Jones and the Trojan Receivers accepted the challenge and responded with 228 yards passing and 2 TDs. USC set the tone very early when Jones connected with Brandon McClellanon the first play from scrimmage on a 78 yard strike as the Colorado corner was caught coming on a blitz. After that the Trojans used a swarming defense and a balanced attack to pull away and earn the convincing 48-14 win.

Bruins dominate Stanford with the passing game as QB Stephen Moss has his best game as a starter, HB Geoff Jones would be contained for most of the game, but did break a 63 yard run on the Cardinal stout front seven. WR Jared McCoy would give a glimspe of his future, only being a sophmore, McCoy got behind the Stanford secondary multiples times but Moss could only connect on one deep ball. Next week the Bruins head up to Corvallis.

    Bruin Game Stats
    S. Moss 19-33 363yds 2tds 1int
    G. Jones 15car 83yds 3tds
    J. McCoy 2rec 112yds 1td
    B. Sanders 5 solos

Henderson Has Historic Performance In Win Over Ohio State

It was a relatively good performance from the Ohio State offense. The defense though had no answer for RB John Henderson. Not only did he have 484 rushing yards but he also had 46 receiving yards. Ohio State nearly managed to come back and win the game but 10 points by Michigan State in the final 1 minute of the game ruined any chance of that.
