South Carolina Gamecocks
Week 1 - South Carolina beats Buffalo (who the hell is buffalo?! lol). Great start for the very first game of the season. The Carolina Gamecocks (1-0) went from a B team to a C+ team, but that won't stop Coach thatguy in trying to turn this team around.
Week 2 - The South Carolina Gamecocks improved to 2-0 to start the season after a 20-3 win against SMU. HB Alfred Martin had another good game with 19 carries for 102 yds and a TD. QB Corey Morris had a nice throwing game, however the 3 Interceptions (2 of which weren't his fault) killed it for him. he went 13 of 19 for 211 yards and 3 Interceptions.
The carolina defense stepped up big also. Coming away with 4 Interceptions and 2 sacks.
The Gamecocks advance to 3-0 after a close win vs Miss St, 38-34. At one point Carolina was behind 31-21
First shutout in .... forever?
South Carolina wins 38-0
South Carolina embarrassed Vanderbilt in Nashville with a 38-0 shutout. Carolina was up 35-0 at Halftime and decided to sub in its second Team Offense and Defense, but Vanderbilt still couldn't get anything done. "I hope we can get some of these plays played on ESPN this week" Coach thatguy said "We played amazing tonight in all 3 phases of the game."
Carolina improves to 6-1
As NCAA puts it; Close, but no Cigar
In probably the most nerve-wrecking game in my NCAA history, the Razorback defeated the Gamecocks 26-24. 13 of the Razorbacks points came off of 4th down in the 1st half of the game. Carolina was able to stay within 2 all game long, leading at one point by 2 points, but a nervous Carolina QB just couldn't get it done, with an INT and a Fumble (videos on dynasty) on the last 2 possesions.
