Ford covered it. I was able to limit his deep pass game by moving speed and size to the CB position. Once i did that, i forced him to nickle and dime his way down the field, and eventually some of them turned into turn overs. Broussard had a huge game for us. Hope i can keep him for next season!

Well the tigers spread the ball around a lot this game getting several people the ball, we even got our FS and CB a catch. With the speed they possess we might look to move them into our rotation more often to cause some mismatches. We a good game for Auburn as we move more to passing this year because for weak RB's.

USC Stopped Short By FSU Goal Line Stand
Last years game was a close hard fought game in which USC knocked off FSU in Tallahassee with a last second 58 yard TD strike to steal the win. Could this years game live to the expectations from last year. In a word "YES". USC held a 10-7 lead at the half after dominating the time of possession for most of the half but timely stop to force a FG and a late TD by the Seminoles just before half had that ominous feeling that this could have a huge impact on the outcome of the game. In the 2nd half the Seminoles made several adjustments and being stopping the Trojan offense and forcing punts. The Seminole took a 14-10 lead midway thru the 3rd Qtr when Hart connected with his WR on a 4 yard TD pass. In the 4th Qtr the Seminoles were driving looking for the knockout punch but the Trojan defense stiffened and forced a 29 yard FG to extend the FSU lead to 17-10. The Trojans kept their cool and continued to work their offense and moved the ball FSU 2 yard line with less than 40 seconds to play. The Seminoles stopped to rush attempts the Trojan used their final timeout with 15 second remaining. The Trojans elected to pass on 3rd down with the thinking if it is incomplete they would get on last shot on 4h down to win the game. But the Seminoles left DE had seen enough and broke thru the line and dropped Jones for a 6 yard loss. The Trojans frantically tried to get another play off time expired before they could get the ball snapped and FSU avenged last years tough loss with a thrilling 17-10 win.
It was a great game by ChildPlease9 as usual and I look forward to many more in the future.

The entire 1st half of this game was a defensive battle. Neither side could get much going and it was all about field position. Then early in the 2nd, Tennessee QB Freeman forced a pass against Cover 3. It was intercepted by Goolsby and returned for a TD and the first points of the game. Later in the 2nd, Ohio State added the first offensive points of the game with a FG and led 10-0 at the half.
For as defensive the 1st half was, the 2nd half became very offensive. It started quickly with Ohio State adding to their lead with a 20 yard run by William James. Up 17-0, it was starting to look like Ohio State was continuing from their performance against UCLA but Tennessee showed their resolve. First, Freeman would break through on an option keeper and would go 64 yards for the Vols first TD to make it 17-7. Then the Volunteer defense stepped up and stopped Ohio State. Tennessee's offense was back on the field but now they were moving the ball with some consistency and would get another TD to close it 17-14. Ohio State would answer with a long ball control drive and eventually scored another TD behind James to push their lead to 24-14.
After a horrible kickoff that went out of bounds, the Vols would get a quick TD off of screen pass to close it up to 24-21. They would go for an onside kick and it looked like they had recovered it. However, a flag was thrown and it must've been just a hair early. They still had 3 timeouts though so Ohio State came out running. On the first run, William James broke through again for a 39 yard TD run to make it 31-21 in the final minute. Tennessee got the ball back but couldn't do anything with their final possession.

Bama dominated from the beginning to cruise to their second win of the season behind a solid defensive performance. Highlights froze so further description of highlights is limited.
