In an instant classic, the #8 Ohio State Buckeyes traveled to the Doak for a Week 7 Showdown with the #2 Seminoles of Florida State. The Bucks jumped ahead early with a safety on a counter play out of the endzone. On the ensuing kick, Ohio State returned the football to the forty. Ohio State would later cash in for 7, taking a 9-0 lead at the end of the first. Florida State would finally put a drive together late in the second quarter, capped with a 5 yard pass from Tony Hart to his tight end. With only 1:09 remaining, Ohio State wasted no time, as Fernandez broke a 55 yard run on a read option keeper before throwing a 13 yard TD pass with :39 left. Trailing 16-7 at half, Florida State came out of the locker room kicking and drove down the field after finally reversing the field position game on the Bucks. However, Ohio State would tack on yet another key safety late in the third, making the score 18-14. Florida State would struggle to muster any offense, but the football gods smiled on the Seminoles today. After a terribly overthrown pass, Ohio State came up with what appeared to be a game-ending interception. However, the Ohio State linebacker would fumble afterwards, recovered by the Noles for a first down. A few plays later, Hart would fumble as he's sacked, with Ohio State recovering; again, the Buckeye player would fumble and Florida State would recover, giving the Noles yet another first down. This time, FSU cashed in on a long completion to the freshman wide receiver, Damien Pollard, to take a 21-18 lead. After a fluke kickoff and quick drive, OSU tacked on a game-tying field goal as time expired, sending the game to OT. The FSU defense finally showed strong in OT, forcing a third and long before true freshman safety Jerrell Foster picked off a Fernandez pass in the endzone and nearly returned it for a touchdown. FSU played it safe on offense, opting for a game-winning 43 yard field goal.

Great game HAL9100. Looking forward to continuing what we've started.

It was a big week for the Noles in recruiting after getting two defensive commitments. Visiting this week were uber-prospects John Little (UF, Miami), David Freeman (OSU), and Nate Miller (UF, Bama).

Auburn wins big on the road over Arkansas 56-21. The offense was working but the D slipped a little allowing 21 points. Passing game continues to improve and the run game is ever present.

Oregon makes 4th Qtr comeback to stop UCLA
This was one of those games where you wish you could save 50 highlights for the recap. There were lots of momentum changes throughout the game. Turnover plauged both teams but in the end the late fumble by UCLA proved to be devastating. It was a great game and i had alot of fun maij17
