Sorry for getting the thread up late
This one was muchhhhh closer than the final score. Simply put, the Vols were able to win this one by winning the ever important turnover battle. The Vols forced a couple interceptions at extremely crucial times and were able to turn those into points. The Bruins would surge late but it was to little to late. gg maij17 always a great time playing you man!
USC & Michigan taking a sim due to 4 straight freezes. Booooooo ea.
Gators Take Down Nittany Lions In Capital One Bowl4th Quarter Comeback Grants Narrow Victory It was an easy 1st half for the Gators. QB Eric Berry would throw a few INTs but the defense was dominant and offense was able to put together a couple drives. This led to a 14-3 lead for the Gators at halftime. In the 2nd half, Penn State pulled themselves together and would mount a comeback. 21 straight points meant that Penn State would 24-14. Eric Berry had a disappointing game but he was able to come through in the clutch. He would lead a TD drive with 3 minutes remaining in the game to close it back to 24-21. Penn State would get the ball back and would move the ball some but would end up punting it back to the Gators. With just 1 timeout remaining and 80 yards to go, Florida had to score now. Berry did it again and eventually found WR Arrington wide open down the side for a TD to take the lead 28-24 with under 1 minute remaining. Penn State had one last shot though. They connected on a deep pass and had the ball at Florida's 10 yard line with 20 seconds remaining. They were unable to complete any passes from there though and would turn it over on downs leading to the end of the game.
