Highlights froze. Davis had another incredible game. More than half of the Vols recruits were on campus for the upset. Hopefully this will pay dividends on the recruiting trail next week.

Florida Continues To Roll Against Kentucky
    Win 35-17
    [IMG]
After back-to-back victories against top 10 opponents, Florida cracked into the top 25 this week and were looking to continue their success. This wasn't the case early. The Gators, still trying to get the running game working, were struggling in the 1st quarter and fell behind 10-0 to the Wildcats. So Florida decided to open up the passing game and that worked out great. The Gators would get 3 long pass plays, including a hail mary with no time remaining, to take control 21-10 at halftime. Kentucky would score first in the 2nd half to make it 21-17 but the Gators would just control the rest of the game and extend their lead to 35-17.

    USC Squeaks Past Cal 17-14
The Trojans welcome the Cal Bears and their new coach John Crow to the Coliseum for an cross conference match-up. The two coaches were very familiar with each other as both had spent several season coaching in the SEC and with an added twist Coach John Crow followed Coach Uagrad90 at Alabama when he left to come out to USC. AS expected the two teams played very evenly and the defenses controlled much of the day. After USC failed on a 4th in 1 inside the Cal 10 the Bears moved down the field ad took a 7-0 lead on a 1 yard run by Madison. But the Trojan came right back and score with 20 seconds left in the half when HB Perry Wright caught a 20 yard TD pass to tie it at 7-7 at the half. In the 3rd Qtr the Trojans took the lead on a 35 yard FG. The Bears retook the lead with 1:24 remaining in the game only to see the Trojans mount a furious comeback and score the winning points with 4 seconds remaining on a TD pass to Upshaw.
It was a great game by John Crow and I look forward to many more battles.
