    Offensive Outlook
Standout QB Jonathan Jordan returns for his Senior campaign following an extremely successful 2016 season, recording over 3000 yards through the air. Minus Heisman winner Daniel Phillips for this season, the Tigers fate may rely largely on the shoulders of #15. Fortunately for Jordan, he has two of the most talented wide receivers in the country, Tyler Hayes and Beau Carey, both of whom are projected to be future NFL 1st round selections.
But despite this aerial attack, Coach Ego believes the youthful duo of Anthony Hawthorne and Jermaine Jenkins can also terrorize opponents on the ground. "We've never had speed like this before," said Ego. "We'll let e'm loose each game and stay with the hot hand. I'm excited." Tight ends Julian Prince and Ryan Mitchell also figure to be to contribute heavily to the running and passing games, as the two versatile receivers have wowed onlookers all summer long.
    Defensive Outlook
Coach Ego boasts perhaps his best defensive unit since his tenure began three years ago, as he's put together an aggressive unit predicated on speed and intelligence. Stand-out linebackers Rodney Ferguson and Nate Carter lead the way as this year's captains, while strong safety Joseph Davidson has NFL scouts lickin' their chops. Auburn's secondary is also made up of Senior Joseph Moore and Junior Gavin Smith, who are both confident that they'll prove to be an elite unit this year. Strong Safety Chris Crawford joins Davidson in the 4-2-5, and figures to be as big a playmaker as anyone.
Prediction: 12-1 (8-1) with an Iron Bowl victory
