Dude, i'm not going to get in a pissing match with you.. Sorry I ran that extra hb dive play, i didn't realize the qtr was about over. I guess I wont say what your approach was the second half. I threw 9 passes the whole game and all I did the whole half was run dives into the line. Obviously, you would like to call me out or something, so bring it. I tried to talk to you but you wouldn't respond.

I'm sorry I drew f'n Florida, you act like I ran the score up on you.. Come on now, you know that's not the case. My game froze on me as I was leaving the post game so my replays and stuff weren't saved. All you have to do is look at the stats, there was no running up the score at all and I really resent you even implying that. It's just sad that my first experience in this OD turned out like this. I did everything right when I was up big but still my name is being drug through the dirt like i'm some sort of an ass. Thanks guy, I really appreciate it.

I didn't say you ran up the score. I am simply stating that when you only throw 9 passes the entire game and still manage to score 35 points and run for that many yards, there is something fishy.

I don't think florida's playbook has only five running plays, but it sure seemed like that was all I saw.

    L2Playdefense?

And its not exactly like he whipped you with a bunch of 3* players. Demps is a beast, as is the whole team. Give me Florida and you would have stomped me ;)

. Here you go again trying to call me out, f'n priceless!! The reason I kept running the same hb and fb dive the whole second half was I didn't want to score anymore!!! If I kept running my offense that I showed you in the first half I would have scored a lot more. It seems I can't win here. If I would've kept running the wr reverses and counters, you would be complaining about that. If I threw, you would complain about that. Go ahead and kick me out if u may because I did nothing wrong!! The only f'n thing fishy was ur run commit the whole game.

Virginia Tech beats ECU with balanced offense and stingy defense
    [IMG]
Wide Receiver Jarrett Boykin gave Eastern Carolina's Defense fits all game.

    BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA
-- A new side came out from the Virginia Tech Offense today, but the Defense kept up to it's old ways by forcing turnovers throughout to keep the Pirates at bay. Eastern Carolina hung tough for most of the game, but the result was never in doubt as the Hokies won by a final score of 34-17. The team in Blacksburg is starting to show why people were so high on this team at the beginning of the season. The Defense is the focal point of the team, and on this day they forced 5 turnovers to dominate the game. Many players on the defense had career days, including DE Steven Friday and CB Rashad Carmichael. The Defense kept the pressure on ECU QB Brad Wornick as they recorded 7 sacks in the game and were in the backfield on almost every play. "We played really well as a unit" said Safety Davon Morgan who had 8 tackles.

The Offense showed it could do damage through the air while maintaining the powerful running game with Ryan Williams and Darren Evans. The Hokies Offense has yet to show the big play ability, but in this game Wide Receiver Jarrett Boykin displayed plenty of big plays with his speed outside. In the first and final quarters he got loose in the secondary and both went for 50+ yards. The Offensive coaches had been waiting to see a good passing game from Taylor and for Boykin to serve as his go-to receiver. They may just have seen this happen in today's game. "We have 3 great receivers, but Boykin should always be the guy to get most of the targets" said Offensive Coordinator Kevin Scott. Williams got 30 carries on the day and once again eclipsed the 100-yard mark, but got some help from buddy Darren Evans for another 47 yards on the ground and a touchdown. "Overall, I think we are really getting everything together as a team as a whole. I loved the way the offense performed, and the defense did it's thing as well" said Coach Frank Beamer.

The Hokies will travel to Chestnut Hill to take on the Boston College Eagles next week as they kick off ACC play.

Offensive Player of the Game: WR Jarrett Boykin, 6 catches, 191 yards, 1 TD
Defensive Players of the Game: DE Steven Friday, 7 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 FF
CB Rashad Carmichael, 2 interceptions & 1 FR

Run commit is horrible in this game unless they're running toss plays, and sometimes stretches if your D-Line is amazing. It's really, not hard to stop the run (Unless they're Wisconsin, in which case I'd understand).

If you run a 4-3, I don't see how he was running up the middle, but I'd understand outside runs... the 3-4 is solid against everything. If you were lining up in nickel, dime, or anything like that... you probably deserve to have him run it all over you.

Georgia was held to under 100 yards of offense, their only points coming from a pick 6 off of a bubble screen to start the game.

I was up 35-0 2mns into the second half. My 50yd td run at the beginning of the 2nd half was due to him run committing to the left (which the play was designed) but I bounced to the right and pretty much walked into the endzone. The only reason I kept running the same dive plays (it was only in the 2nd half when the game was over) was because he COULD stop them and I didn't want to score anymore points (which I didn't). If I ran other plays like tosses, reverses and play-action passes, I probably would have scored more, then he would call me out on that so it was a no win situation for me.

Honestly, I joined the OD to play good SIM ball and meet some new guys that love college football and this game as much as I do. I tried to talk to him but he wanted nothing to do with me from the get go. If he thinks I tried to embarrass him or anything like that, I am truly sorry as that was not my intention. I do believe he owes me something for dragging this onto the forums as I feel he was trying to get me kicked out or something. I have played in dynasty's with a few members here on TF and I have never been accused of anything other than being a good SIM player who plays the game the right way.

This is all I have to say on the matter and now I consider it done. Hopefully were all good but if not, life goes on.

Chapel Hill, North Carolina: The Yellow Jackets keep finding ways to win. With Senior QB Joshua Nesbitt out a couple more weeks and speedy HB Embry Peeples getting injured for about a month, the team still pulled it out. This was easily the most physical game Georgia Tech played all year and once again, the defense was spectacular.

QB Tevin Washington only threw the ball 6 times the whole game as the running attack was put to full use. 42 carries later, the team would have a victory. The only standout performance was Roddy Jones' 69 yards and 1 TD on 12 carries.

The defense was key again, as they forced a season high 7 turnovers. North Carolina QB TJ Yates was under pressure all day, and although he wasn't sacked, the pressure forced 5 interceptions.

The play of the game though was CB Mario Butler's 100 yard kickoff return for a TD. Add to that his 2 interceptions, and the Senior was named player of the game.

Next week, the Yellow Jackets face 3-0 NC State in another conference clash.
