Wake Forest, North Carolina: The Yellow Jackets survive another close game this time with a 4th quarter drive of their own. QB Joshua Nesbitt was the story though as his return from injury sparked what had been a somewhat anemic offense. The team clicked for 450 yards of total offense and Nesbitt acounted for all 3 of the TD.

The biggest of which was his 88 yard option keeper from his own 12 yard line. After he broke the first tackle, no one was going to catch him. The team let Wake Forest back in the game though with some uncharacteristic turnovers. 5 to be exact and their season turnover margin is beginning to shrink.

HB Roddy Jones playing in the wingback position is turning into one of the surprise players on the team. He hauled in 4 catches for 78 yards, and a big TD catch as well as running for 46 yards on 12 carries. The speed of Embry Peeples has been missed and the team is hoping he returns next week.

Defensively, DE Izaan Cross had 2 sacks and OLB Anthony Barnes led the team with 6 tackles and 1 sack.

Next week the team hosts Virginia who pulled off a stunning upset over Florida State.

Another nail biter for Tech. That's a shocker. Had one for the books last night versus Bama. Didn't have time for a recap but will do so today after work. I'm beginning to wonder if something special is in the works for this Gator squad after the houdini act we pulled down in Tuscaloosa.
