    Ole Miss - 7
    Arkansas - 34

    Arkansas Stats:
    Ryan Mallett - 15-26, 273 yards, 2 tds, 1 int
    Ronnie Wingo - 17 att, 78 yards, 1 td
    Dennis Johnson - 8 att, 43 yards, 1 td
    Greg Childs - 5 catches, 116 yards, 2 tds
    Joe Adams - 2 catches, 59 yards

What a great way to start off my career here at THL. After a slow first half(10-7 at halftime), I scored 24 unanswered points to send Ole Miss home with a humiliating defeat, Mallett and company were unstoppable in the second half. Hopefully I'll have similar success next week against Vandy.

Haha I was looking at my schedule and the user before me destroyed every CPU team he played, I don't what he was doing but he was killing teams. I don't think I'll have that kind of success but we'll see.

I don't think anyone (other than the former Arkansas coach) would have that kind of success.

Death Valley, SC: It's amazing what a week of hard practice will do after getting beaten by an inferior team.

The defense was back to their ball hawking ways, taking the ball away 3 times in wet, sloppy conditions. All 3 turnovers were fumbles caused by the hard hitting Georgia Tech defense. DT TJ Barnes earned himself a promotion to the starting nose guard role after his dominant performance today with 7 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

HB Roddy Jones though was the story, proving that he is one of the best all purpose backs in the country. He had 137 total yards on 8 carries and 4 receptions, scoring 1 TD. It was also good to have HB Embry Peeples back in the lineup and he contributed with a big pass catch off of play action, and a TD run of his own.

Third down defense was really strong for the Yellow Jackets as they held Clemson to 10% conversions as well as keeping themselves off the field and contributing to a 19:13 TOP ratio.

Next week the team plays the Hokies, in a must win game to keep any hopes of a Conference Championship bid.

Duke gave the Hokies a brief scare, but Tech still pulled out the victory behind dominating performances from Ryan Williams and Darren Evans. Williams eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark in just his 8th game of the season and hopes to break many of the Tech rushing records when he is done this season and for his career. This marks the first time that the Defense has allowed more than 17 points this season.
